- Almost nothing
- Very nice workers, very friendly. Thanks for being amazing.
Cons -
- Staff fight douring breakfast. Old furniture, old and small TV... defenetly no 4* hotel...
- Poor shower facilities. Hosts were not friendly. A lot of money for a very basic hotel. Would not let us stay in the lobby to play board game. Turned the lights off on us at 10pm.
- Worst breakfast ever, everything empty and breads were really old, and hard. There were only one nice lady and running everywhere and making coffee or tee. Why not putting coffee or tea as self service? Much easier, right? But honestly, really bad breakfast.

Breakfast
No staff...no restaurants...no service. Staff were very unfriendly. Not helpful.
“The breakfast staff at the hotel was friendly, polite and helpful! They were incredibly attentive, They greeted guests with a smile and were quick to assist with any requests
I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The room was very small and outdated and not worth the money I paid for. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. The selection was limited and the quality was poor. For the price of the stay, I expected something much better. But the worst part was the reception staff—unfriendly, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. She acted like she doesn’t care less about us and even seemed annoyed when I asked for basic things.Would definitely NOT stay again here.
There were some nice potted plants in front of the entry.
The room was small, old & outdated. The staff was unfriendly & not helpful. The location was not near any restaurant. The breakfast was minimal with burnt crescents and the price was way too high for such an old place. I think we were the only ones staying there.
It was clean and close to a place to eat
It was advertised as having air conditioning but it didn't work. Loud work outside early in the morning.
Good value, parking space free, next to the bike road
breakfast was pokey (poor)
The breakfast was OK. There were a large variety of food. Soundproofing of the room was satisfying. Despite the fact that the railway is near the hotel we nearly couldn't hear anything noisy.
I strongly recommend that the female receptionist reconsider her career in hospitality and tourism. Here’s why:We decided to extend our stay by one more night and first asked the woman at the front desk if this was possible. She bluntly told us no, which was puzzling because we could see on Booking.com that there were several rooms available. We then asked the male receptionist, who was courteous and promptly confirmed that we could indeed stay another night. Together, we informed the female receptionist of our extended stay, and she acknowledged it without issue.Later that night, around 10-11 p.m., we returned to the hotel and noticed that our room keycard no longer worked. We called the reception for assistance. After several attempts, the female receptionist finally answered but, despite being responsible for not updating our keycard access, she refused to help. Instead, she suggested we call the other receptionist or even sleep in the corridor! Fortunately, the male receptionist eventually answered our call and returned to the hotel to resolve the issue.I have never encountered a receptionist who so completely disregarded the needs and comfort of guests.
I'm not sure why others didn't like the hotel. We found the hotel quite nice. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly. Although the place looked run-down from the outside, it was cozy inside. Breakfast was okay.I didn't have the time to write a review, but the only reason I'm writing now is that I believe this hotel deserves a better rating than its current one.
If my partner hadn't been there, I would have driven away just by looking at the outside. It doesn't look inviting. The restaurant wasn't functional when we were there, but luckily, there was a nice place in front of the hotel. Other than that, everything is a bit far away. However, there's a train station that can take you to the town.
Good location. (Note: 2 stops from Bolzano on train to Merano. Don’t bother with taxi). Great beer garden restaurant nearby.
Lumpy bed, noisy, stuffy in room because air conditioning was turned off it seems. Breakfast ok.
Great location over night. Good breakfast. Good restourant across the street. Free parking.
The hotel is in a quiet location though close enough to the town center of Bozen. The room had a nice view, was quite large en comfortable. Good breakfast.
There is no restaurant for dinners. Later in the evening the outside door is locked and there is no reception. One has to open the door with the key card which doesn't work very smoothly.
We loved staying here! Great, quiet location, just outside Bolzano with beautiful views, wonderful rooms, the BEST coffee and breakfast and fabulous service. It was an easy drive into Bolzano to take the cable car up the mountain for amazing views.Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome and taking such great care of us Martin & Miriam Adelaide, Sth Australia
Poor
Dirty sheets, nothing to eat at breakfast, cold in the room
The view from the balcony and large room
Outdated and room key not functioning so did not receive key to room. Staff used master key to get us into room and did not issue a new key.
The lady that's runs it is great. The rooms are large, comfortable, and spotless. Real wood decor.
Odd location, but it worked for me
Location
Half empty, old & stale bread & brioche at breakfast.
I liked that this hotel gives you the special feeling that you have travelled back in time. Interesting concept and architecture.
I will be honest: this is by no means a 4-star hotel. 2 to 3 stars would be enough and match the reality. The furniture is outdated and not really of high quality. And besides of that the internet connectivity is very poor.
Nice room very clean
Poor breakfast, lots of things had run out and were not replenished such as bread, even though we had breakfast well within allotted timeReception staff not very helpful when we asked for directions to somewhere to eat
