HELIOPARK Bad Hotel Zum Hirsch

We upgraded to a suite, actually to make sure we could have A/C during heat wave, but it was a pleasant surprise with such an elegant room.

The front desk was virtually not interested.

Central location with old world charm and service

We were on the 5th floor during a heat wave. The air conditioning was negligible. However there were lots of big windows and it was lovely cool at night

The location was great. The room was massive. The bathroom was top notch.

Location to parking. Not able to drop off luggage, had to walk it across busy cobblestone pedestrian only streets.

The front desk gentleman was very helpful...recommended a nice restaurant that we tried and really enjoyed it.

Extremely clean and quiet. Large bathroom and very nice bed. Great location. I worked here in 1991 and wanted to return and see the hotel again.

Decent location.

There was little to like. The hotel was probably grand at some point in time, but it is shabby and run-down. The couch was torn. There is cheap furniture in the room. The “queen” bed is just two uncomfortable twin beds pushed together. The bathroom felt like a hospital bathroom with a 1980s jacuzzi. It was impossible to take a stand-up shower given the odd dimensions of the jacuzzi. The shower would have been impossible for elderly travelers. I told the front desk about a foul odor in my room, and he said he could look into moving my room the next day. I said I was leaving the next day, and he just shrugged his shoulders.

Lovely hotel and located close to shops and spas.

Air conditioning was not effective on hot days.

Exceptionally unique hotel with a lot of charm and facilities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Baden-Baden. Location, comfort, service, cleanliness. All perfect.

The HelioPark bad Hotel zum Hirsch is a wonderful place to stay if you want to feel pampered and still be in a perfect place to take in The Healing Waters of Baden Baden. The room was opulent, and the balcony was large. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was enormous and we loved the added benefit of being able to soak in the therapeutic water that was given as an option to fill the tub with. The staff was professional, and engaging, and helped with things that they weren't even asked to help with. My husband and I arrived at 9:30 at night, and rather than having a steak our luggage up to our room, Ingolf was kind enough to store it in the lobby room so we could get dinner before the restaurants closed. Our state couldn't have been better and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

There was literally nothing we didn't like about our stay, or the hotel, or the people who ran it.

Friendly, helpful staff. My single room was spacious. Excellent location.

The location was perfect for exploring the town and visiting the thermes. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

Elegant historical hotel right in the center of the town. This is the oldest hotel in Baden-Baden, a lot of history behind and nice elegant fleur. Elegant Princess style Suits. Hotel is connected with Thermal water source, so you can have thermal bath right in your room. Breakfasts were god. Very friendly and professional staff.

Hotel needs some renovation. I like historical hotels, but old carpets with stains spoil the impression. Bed was not comfortable, mattress too old and soft. Breakfast room too little and not very cozy. But in general I liked the hotel,

Awesome to be able to bring the dog. Friendly and attentive staff. Comfy bed! Lovely room! Loved there was a bath tub. Keen to try the thermal water right at the hotel, unfortunately the thermal water connection in the bathtub didn't work.

Shame there was no kettle available in the room or coffee maker. A coffee maker in the room would benefit people who work late and leave earlier that the hotel breakfast.A greater variety of vegetables, fruits, salads, quality plant based products like vegan butters, pâté, hummus, etc would make the breakfast more worthwhile. The thermal water connection didn't work

Breakfast was ok. Duvet should be wider and warmer. Extra blankets not provided.

The style of the hotel interior, the attention to the details from the porcelain dish at breakfast to the crystal chandelier in the rooms. Very beautiful

It would be nice to have a kettle and tea in the room like in the most European's hotel.
