Breakfast, architecture, historical value

Front desk service feels non welcoming. Staff seems stressed and rushed, like taking care of you is a hassle. They were uncomfortable with us, not sure why. Other than this the hotel was lovely and the location could not be better. Magnificent gardens!

The location was perfect. The room was renovated and spacious. The staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was great. We enjoyed our stay. We had a place to park the car

Excellent hotel with beautiful and current decor. We loved our triple room (#3). The heavy door and windows blocked out any noise from other guests and exterior sounds. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Loved the thick curtains which blocked the sun and assisted in our sleep. The employees were very friendly. We had the best eggs and breakfast of our entire 2 week Europe trip. The people and property were exceptional!! We will be back!!

The only issue was the pull out mattress was slightly too hard. That is the only thing negative about the experience!!

Everything was closed, breakfast was in the small room, room service didn't worked, main entrance in restoration, i don't understand for what we paid money ?The only positive thing is the people that work there otherwise the price should me much lower as nobody told us that none of the things were working due to the restoration of the hotel.

The room was great, modern and confortable.

It did fully match the pictures on Booking. It was a different building than Hotel am Sophienpark.

The WiFi didn’t work the whole night

2 single mattresses joined together rather than one king

Staff was super friendly. Desk staff was helpful. Location was perfect and central to everything Baden-Baden has to offer. We were able to walk everywhere in only a few short minutes.

Parking directions. An address on the parking garage would have been helpful for mapping purposes. Street signs are not very visible and many streets are not for vehicles so getting to the parking garage was complicated if you took a wrong turn. The city is extremely confusing for driving. Once you park your car, don't ever take it out till you check out!

A beautiful centrally located hotel. Large and grand old school hotel. Huge rooms

If you travel by car you have to book a parking spot, otherwise you would have to park your car in public parking which is quite far Our rooms were in different buildings

The location was excellent! We stayed in the Dependance, and our room had been recently renovated with a sleek, modern design.

It will be better if the bar works more actively and the place of its will renovate to extend this are.

Poor decor and furniture in room, very small bathroom, impossible to shower without flooding bathroom, stains on room carpet, only 1 small lift for entire hotel (also used by staff), safe not working( took 2 visits to fix), poor mattress on bed

Magnificent place to stay in Baden Baden. Right in the centre fabulous rooms and the staff are all superb. Our second time here this year and we will be back

Not much to like

OK, there we go. When I booked, the pictures on the Booking showed a nice and pleasant room. However, reality is different. The room was like 20-year-old furniture, and the aircon was making a rattling noise every 5 min. (We notified the admin, but nothing was done; we could not help you in the evening, and that was your problem.) The hotel restaurant is not working, but this can be compromised with nearby food places, back to the room. The room was very low on the top of the hotel. The bathroom, my goodness, is not even close to the hotel's star rating. We also were told that we could not be in the garden after 22:00 to chill with a few beers after a long day's journey. We left the place early before breakfast. I am very disappointed with this hotel in the hart of the city.

Huge room, with plenty of sleeping options; me & my wife frequently wake each other up by accident, so it was nice to be able to sleep separately.Linens & mineral water replaced daily, didn't even need to ask. We drink a lot of water, so this was very useful.Nice view to the park and some hills in the distance.Great breakfast, well worth the price.Gästekarte was provided right away, good savings for Caracalla (not Friedrichsbad though, but this was our first visit anyway, so it didn't matter)Location is just so great, everything's in walking distanceA/C was a nice addition, you don't find it often in Europe. Weather was rather hot on our stay, so it really made a difference.

A small fridge wouldn't go amiss, but this is just a minor nitpick.
