- The location was amazing. 2min walk to the spam and roman baths. 5 min walk to shopping and cafés.
- Hotel is old fashioned but in super good location in Baden Baden, ideal for a one night stay if you want to go to enjoy the city and don't want to drive. It's directly in the city centre and you can walk to all sights. Breakfast is great!
Cons -
- The bed was slightly uncomfortable, with cheap worn out pillows need more than one flat pillow on the bed. The shower curtain was disgusting and way to long for the shower causing a slip hazard. Plus the shower head holder was terrible. If you turn on the shower and adjust the temp, then the shower head jumps out of the holder spraying water every where. The overhead room light did not work with the switch. Thankfully there were lamps. The location was fantastic.
- Room was simple but ok.

Room was simple but ok.
We asked for a room with a view and looked out our window onto the thermal spa Very nice.
Friendly staff, great location, yummy breakfast. It felt like a local "mom and pop" hotel and was very comfortable and clean. It felt like being welcomed into someone's home.
Location fantastic. Across the way from the friedricksbad and the Caracalla
Could be cheaper
The location was exceptional, and we found it very quiet at night. The owner was a nice man and breakfast was fine.
Good location
Elevator are very old and small, downstairs has restaurant very loud till midnight, can’t get a rest
Quiet location, comfortable room, helpful staff
A bit dated and basic room
Location was close to the spa, and right downtown. Friendly staff, air conditioning in the room!!!
Perfect location as everything was walking distance. Breakfast was really good . Staff were friendly and helpful.
Old hotel, but clean and with amazing atmosphere! Location is great!
Walking distance from bus stop. Right next to the Caracalla baths for which we got reduced rate and a third hour free by being hotel guests. We had a top floor attic room which was very spacious and comfortable.Good breakfast and very helpful staff.
We stood outside and it looked a little run down. I told my sister we could always get somewhere else. Receptionist didn’t speak English (why should he - he was a German in Germany) and appeared a little grumpy. We went into our room and fell in love. I immediately went down and booked an extra night. Big smile from the receptionist when I him it was because we so loved the room. The room was so charming, very spacious and the most comfortable had stayed in. Two huge windows facing one way onto the old town and French windows with a balcony onto the front square. Breakfast was excellent with a good range and quality. The location was fantastic, and provided excellent access to the thermal baths, restaurants, shops and for just looking at the beauty of the town which is very worthy of being a UNESCO Heritage site. The only downside was no parking at the hotel, you had to use a pay car park a couple of hundred metres away. If we had wanted a hotel with parking, we would’ve been paying two or three times as much so I’m not complaining I just want to make a note for those for whom parking is a critical factor. We walked up to the old castle which was strenuous but well worth it (we could have parked closer but wanted the exercise). Completely fell in love withBarden Barden. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anybody with a soul. It is not a bland boring chain Hotel, it has charm, character and personality.
The single room I booked was large and had a very comfortable double bed.Very good breakfast.Ideal location in front of the spa's.
The description led to believe the hotel had its own car park: "drive up and we will tell you". They do but it is a public car park, paying obviously. It is not that far away, but still inconvenient when needing something from the car.
Great value for the money. The included breakfast was tasty and enough, and the location in the old town just outside of the baths was perfect.
Feels like it needs a bit of renovation, but that is probably difficult since the prices are so low.
Great location, nice staff and good breakfast

If you come to Baden-Baden to enjoy spa centers, then this hotel has a perfect location, literally in front of Friedrichsbad and Caracalla. The hotel is family owned and has a lot of history in it, the whole family is still working there. Considering super location it is worth the money you pay.
The place needs some renovation and improvement, it hasn't been done for quite a long time.
The location was wonderful, bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, the staff were helpful.
The location was fantastic for walking into the town, although there was no parking included, there was a car park nearby which was okay.
We had booked a double room but due to a flooding issue we were given two seperate rooms. They were okay but the hotel is a little dated
