Alkyonides Boutique Hotel

The guy who owns this hotel is a truly nice guy. I was arriving late ant night and he left the keys for me. The room was clean and also cleaned daily to a high standard. They arranged a taxi from the hotel to where I was going daily. The beach is a short walk away and restaurants are just up the road. It’s a good location, clean, the staff were great and always on hand should you need them.

No breakfast had to be at the airport very early but bonus I was able to make a cup of coffee in my room. Large bedroom and comfortable bed with clean sheets. Air conditioning. Good size balcony. Hotel near airport but rooms seem well soundproofed, didn't hear a thing. Nice warm welcome from Yiannis as this was my 2nd stay and efficient as ever in booking my taxi for 06.00 am for the following morning.

Have to be honest bathroom although a good size and always hot water could do with an update but there again you don't usually spend a lot of time in the bathroom.

Breakfast was ok. The room size was generous. Yiannis at reception was very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast, jam could have been decanted into another container instead of the original tub it came in with sticky jam on the sides. I had small problem with remote for Air con, I am sure Yianni would have sorted it but it was late before I realised.

Clean, friendly and helpful

The airport is 3 blocks away. You can feel the air as they pass directly Over every 2 to 3 minutes. This didn’t stop 24/7

IT IS A SCAM! It was a nightmare. Cockroaches welcomed us in the “room”. Toilet has a brown sign from previous client (or the owner). My wife was afraid to go to the so called “bathroom “ I can’t even name it as a hotel. Reviews from booking definitely fakes 8/10 !!!!!!! We escaped out from there as soon as it was possible. Around 100€ per night through booking it is a criminal offence. I even didn’t speak about it with the owner after I read his inappropriate answers on the google reviews and I even do not expect even a word from him on my review. Every response from him on the google is below human being. Stolen of our time and money. I won’t leave it like that it is a criminal offended what that guy is doing cheating people and stealing their money and time. You could get sick after spending a night in that so called “hotel” and watch out to not get back to your home with worms.

Very good location. Itl is super close to the airport, the beach, and restaurants.

The beds were very comfortable, and cakes for breakfast were delicious. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late so reception was closed but there was a note directing us to our room which was just next door. Be aware there are planes flying overhead (although they stop at midnight according to the owner). The sound didn't bother us, the hotel has good widows and doors to negate the sound but you can still hear them, it is something to bear in mind if you are awake or I guess a very light sleeper.

There was a note in the room about looking after the towels, not putting them on the floor and make-up or sun lotion stains being charged at €10, presumably an issue with disrespectful guests but felt quite blunt.

Love this place. The hosts were extremely friendly, attentive and generous. We arrived very late but everything was well arranged and smooth. The breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Friendly manager and easy to find. Next to the sea if you fancy a three minute walk to the pebbly beach. Super convenient for the airport and an early flight.

Good location for travelling, close to the airport. The chap on the desk sorted out my early taxi and ordered me a pizza as I arrived late and nothing seemed a problem. Good room, big, comfortable, quiet. Nothing to say anything negative about.

Very friendly owner with a great variety of selfmade dishes for breakfast. Absolutely worth the money. The room was in great shape and had a good air conditioner.

Manager was kind and helpful. Very close to the airport for our early morning flight. Easy walk to the beach. Room was ready and lovely with bonus of fresh fruit and bottled water. Comfy bed. Wonderful towels. Best shower of our stay in Greece!

Be aware that this lovely hotel is directly in the flight path - no way to change that - cost of being so convenient to the airport.

The bathroom - water would not go down the sink, the shower curtains were disgusting, the toilet door did not close.

AVOID - AVOID at all costs.

AVOID - stay away from this property! The front desk manager didn't have appropriate behaviors. First mentioning that I was traveling alone, then I was pretty followed by wanting a Kiss. No Kidding... he actually repeated 3 times that he wanted a kiss and got up to stand behind the counter. Obviously, I declined and asked for my bedroom key. I asked if he could book a taxi and he replied he can...but I need to give 10.10.10. Then he explained that I needed to give him 10 stars comments on the rsvn platform.He makes me feel so unsafe. I slept with a chair in front of the door and double check the window doors.Last, don't get me started on the cleanliness, the shower curtain was dirty and moldy, the room smelled gross, and the walls between each room are made of paper... then you can hear a plane landing above your head (no isolation despite being near the airport).
