Eleni Hotel

We spent an unforgettable vacation at Hotel Eleni on the island of Kos, and the experience was truly special. Although the initial photos didn’t seem too promising, when we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find a newly renovated or perhaps even brand-new room that exceeded all our expectations. The atmosphere was magical, and the family who owns the hotel is one of the most welcoming and relaxed hosts we have ever met. We felt a genuine warmth from everyone, making us feel like part of their family.While breakfast isn’t overly diverse, it’s hearty and perfect for starting a day full of exploration. This family business offers not only accommodation but also a soulful experience that truly makes a difference. If we ever return to Kos, we will definitely choose Hotel Eleni again. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation in an authentic and friendly atmosphere. 100% recommended!

We had a family room for 12 nights, nice big bathroom with a great walk in shower (one of the best we have had in Greece at this price point), beds were a good 8/10?. Super clean and the location was perfect for us. We are not early eaters so didn’t try breakfast, we had a kettle and fridge in our room which suited us perfectly. Supermarket two mins walk that sells absolutely everything you could ever possibly need. Our first time to Kefalos and we are in love with the place❤️. V.x

Everything was clean, near to the very nice beach. Our room was comfortable with a big balcony. Nice area around to pool with sunbeds and sun umbrella. Cleaning every day. Nice personal.

We were two weeks, and that's why little monotonous breakfast.

The location was perfect, the pool was lovely and the rooms were very clean.

Beds were slightly uncomfortable but thats it!

There is a big pool, free parking space, good air-conditioning and really good restaurant surroundings it. If you walk you are able to go to the beach in 5 min.The garden is perfect, they have wild ground birds that provide from they're perfectly held garden. The flowers on the plants bloom very pretty! Also there are many cats!! I love it There is a bar where you can buy water and snacks!

The shower drain sometimes kept the water in the shower. And the shower curtain likes to hug you.Also when it was dark it was dark. I can understand that some people love it, but personally I like a little lights shining threw.

The room, very nice & seemed very out of place compared to the rest of the rooms in it , we usually end up in dated Greek hotel’s & apartments.I believe ours was only took like this in the hotel.

The staff/ family that ran it. The family were very unfriendly, to the point of being rude. The daughter that tended the snack bar/ bar couldn’t be bothered to say please or thank you, rolled her eyes when she had to get up to serve you & I didn’t see her smile once in a week. She was doing homework with her daughter at the bar & was shouting at her so loudly the other sister at the back end of the hotel could hear & had to come out & ask her to stop shouting, which only resulted in more shouting between them. This other sister was the same, unfriendly & unable to smile to guests, it felt like they didn’t want us there. Old man & wife that obviously owned it didn’t say much but would acknowledge you at least, their daughters will close the place down if they carry on treating paying guests like that. Was also accused of breaking the shower head, saw on someone else’s review theirs was broken too & when they complained were advised the other part works so it’s not broken, therefore didn’t report it when we say it on arrival. Asked for late check out & willing to pay but was told the hotel was fully booked.. don’t believe this was true, barely half full when we left.

the location. the bed, the cleanliness, the bathroom (when moved to a normal sized room), the balcony (when moved to a normal sized room), clean towels, fresh bedding, the lime trees for gin & tonic lol

The original room, the online photos, do not reflect or give an accurate statement of the rooms. The ensuite bathrooms are so tiny that you cannot move comfortably from the toilet to the shower. Too too small, The rooms are tiny.

Excellent staff location and price. Peaceful and relaxing location.

Pretty Bad Experience.

Pretty Bad Experience. At the reception when I checked in, they told me my room was in another pavilion, not in the main one. So officially my room was in a very different, awful style hotel and I had the real sensation that my booking was not correctly registered and expected. on the confirmation this info (room in a very different / second pavilion) should absolutely be said.So a very bad room, a pretty essential breakfast and moreover the transfer to the airport organised by the reception forgot about me. After many requests the lady called him and it was quite embarrassing.

You must pay 7€ per day for air conditioners (so bad) outside is 40 degrees inside is the same temperature. Staff isn’t cool
