Hotel Cycle

Excellent location right on the waterfront. We visited in winter and it was very quiet. Hotel is esthetic, spacious and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking is very accessible. Make sure you bring the parking ticket to the front.Breakfast is served at the cafe right inside the U2 and was great. I was a tiny bit concerned that our room entrance faced the restaurant, but the room was incredibly quiet and comfy!

The shower was not water tight, but not a huge deal.

Convenient location, stylish accommodations, great restaurant and cafe, surprisingly excellent shop. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Very modern property with a decent restaurant and cafe within it. Also, if you are renting a bike from Giant, their shop is in the same building

We stayed here before biking the Shimanami Kaido. It was an excellent location & we greatly enjoyed our stay. The staff is fantastic too. We ended up leaving an item in our hotel room & the lovely staff shipped it to our next destination Thank you Hotel Cycle!

Great location close at the start of the Shimanami Kaido bike route. Hotel has a restaurant, bar, cafe and food to take away. Helpful staff. Happy to store luggage until we returned after two days.

Very convenient if you plan to ride the Shimanami Kaido. Rooms are comfortable but very dark. Great breakfast.

Our room had a couple of items such as burned out lightbulbs that should have been noticed by housekeeping and fixed.

Amenities and location by the water were great. Breakfast was excellent.

There is a very strong wet basement/mildew smell in the room and it gave us both coughs that lingered for a few days. I believe there is a mold issue. We stayed just 1 night, but if it was longer, we would have found another hotel.

This is the hotel to stay at if you are cycling. The room is excellent, comfortable, convenient. Bathrooms are top notch. Attached cafe and restaurant are both great.

You will have to pay for the privilege to stay here. This is not an inexpensive hotel.

This place is awesome. The cafe and restaurant are fantastic. Staff was amazing. location is beautiful. Would have stayed longer if we had known. Great place to start or end you bike trip. Or a home base for day trips.

Fantastic location, right next to the ferry that'll take you to the beginning of the Shimanami Kaido route. The entire hotel is very well adapted to cyclists - you can park your bike right next to your room, which is amazing! The breakfasts were awesome - warm food served on a hot pan will fuel you on your cycling journey. There's also the Giant store where you can rent your bike.

The lighting in the room is both a plus and a minus. It creates a nice atmosphere, but it would be nice if there was a big main light, especially for the morning.And it was a little tough not to get everything wet while taking a shower because of the curtain, so maybe a lip on the bath that would prevent the water from escaping would be nice.But these are such minor things that they don't take away from the experience at all!

We loved the hip, relaxed vibe, cool design, and cycle-friendly amenities including a bike shop on site, and a nice breakfast to power-up for the Shimanami Kaido bike ride. The multi-lingual staff were kind and helpful in sending our luggage onto our next hotel.

Although we loved the design and the renovation of an old warehouse into a hotel, the lighting level in the rooms were so dark. An option for a higher lighting level would be appreciated, especially when scrambling to repack luggage.

Great vibe, very good food and amenities. We hired hotel bikes for successful ride around island.

Great location. Easily walkable from the train station. Unique idea converting an old industrial building. Loved the stores and bike shop in the lobby. Food was fine, though breakfast started late, I thought. I also appreciated having washers available! That was a big plus after riding bikes all day.

A bit dark in the room, but considering the original building, I understand. I thought it was odd that the hotel did not provide body lotion in the rooms. Soap, shampoo, and conditioner, but no body lotion? Also, the wash clothes were of poor quality.

Full cycle experience hotel. The breakfast was very good so we had one dinner there and it's very good also!

Great concept for a hotel! We stayed here the evening before we biked the Shimanami Kaido and it was perfect. Very friendly staff who helped us plan our cycle route and luggage logistics. The hotel itself is modern and very comfortable! The breakfast was delicious and fuelled us for the bike ride.

First stop of our cycling trip. Fantastic location, breakfast and friendly people. We loved exploring the town by walking and by bike.

Perfect location for beginning our cycling tour

We loved our stay. The hotel was perfect for bikers and had an amazing aesthetic. The food was incredible. Highly recommend getting the breakfast. We hung out at the hotel all evening and morning because it is such a nice spot to chill and relax by the water. The staff was kind, patient and friendly. Would 100% stay again

European standard of cleanness and moderness. The breakfast was tasty but had no japanese options in case you are looking for that. You get to choose scrambled eg/salmon/tomato soup and in addition to that there is a buffet with bread/drinks/salad and müsli. Very close to the ferry for thouse who want to cycle the islands. Very comfortable beds. Tabels to sit and hangout at the pier. A bit expensive, but you get a very good hotel for that. Staff knows english very well

There were so many hidden lightswiches. It took us some time to figure out how to turn them all off to sleep. There is not really natural light but you could open the big bathroom window to let some air/light in. Since it is at the harbor it smells of petrol if you leave the window open and a boat arrives. But there is a aircon, so open windows are not nessesary
