Back in 2019 I stayed at 123 hotel Fukuyama. It was not available this year, so I got this instead. Honestly, I don't regret it. Everything was an upgrade. The room is big, the bed comfortable and the bathroom clean.I honestly have nothing to gripe about. This booking was a bull's eye.

The room and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast had many wonderful Western and Japanese choices, as usual. We appreciated being able to borrow two nice bicycles for free (for a small returnable security deposit). The public bath had a wonderful sauna, a large indoor and outdoor bath, a cold tub and and excellent views!
I was sad to see that my favorite breakfast dish was missing: scrambled eggs (which Candeo always cooks just right). We were told it was because of the bird flu, but other hotels offering buffet breakfasts did have scrambled eggs. I rented the private (family) bath for the first time. It was nice, but a bit small and had only one bath. Next time, I will only use the spacious public bath.
Use of the rooftop bath was nice.
Very small room and tiny bathroom for the price. Air-con was so loud that we couldn't sleep with it on.
