Onomichi Kokusai Hotel

Short walk to town. Had a free shuttle to the train station. Staff was very friendly. Room was very clean.

There were 4 adults and the bathroom area was very small.

Great location at the end of the Shimanami Kaido! We were exhausted after the ride and it was the perfect place to crash not too far from the ferry terminal

The convenience store right next to it eases your mind even arriving ok the 1st night if new year, restaurant food was decent and reasonably priced.

The room was a bit small for a family of 4 but it’s ok for only one night, was convenient upon arrival from Hiroshima airport, only 40mins drive.

There is a 24-hour lobby with an English speaker so check-in is flexible and easy. They run a free shuttle bus into town if you reserve in advance.

The hotel is a 20-minute walk from the train station. One of the elevators was in disrepair so the elevator was busy around cleaning time/check-in.

Breakfast was fine, and location was a bit far from the main area, but walkable.

The air in room could not be adjusted so we had to open window and no screen on window.

The hotel is about one kilometer away from the station. The room was spacious with a partial view of the sea. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

The hotel was located in a somewhat industrial area but it was in walking distance to the ferry port area so it met our needs.

The staff were really kind, the place was clean and well managed, and the value price for it was amazing! I would definitely recommend

Our room was very small and when I asked for an up grade the cost was too much. The shuttle bus was difficult to book and we waited for it to arrive at the station on a scheduled pick up and it did not appear

I like that you will be welcomed by staff at the door. And also the WWII Japanese battleship model outside my elevator door. Maybe it was built nearby ?!

Soundproof isn't that great.And it's more away from the center, but you have shops and restaurants nearby.

Super friendly staff, very helpful even calling Onomichi Base to organise my ebike rental for Shimanami kaido cycle. Lovely, modern room, elegant foyer, superb bar on the 8th floor and free shuttle to and from Onomichi train station.

Laundry was by service laundry by arrangement which is fine but I'm so used to using coin laundries in other hotels. Minor quibble.

Very helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast. There is a small coin laundry in the basement, and parking for car and/or bicycles.

Located a little out of the center. However, the hotel offers a shuttle service to the train station, which is very helpful.

The walk from/to the train station is about 2 km. There is a shuttle however does not run all day.

They have a good restaurant with delicious dinner and breakfast. Book your room with meal(s) included if possible.

The air-con's cold-room mode never worked. I turned out open the windows for better ventilation.

The staff was very attentive and kind, it certainly surpassed my expectations. The location was good and there is a convenience store next to it. Also as a cyclist, I liked that there was parking for bikes.
