The hotel was close to the train station and ferry port, simple but clean, solicitous staff, washing machine at roof floor with laundryline.

Nothing to declare against.

Completely great start for the shimanami kaidonand right in front of the bike rental so you can get there really early. My only regret is not spending more time in onomichi and I only discovered how interesting it was as we were leaving.Room was affordable and good. Nice view.Late check in saved our bacon. Arigato.

Location. Across the street from Shimanami Kaido bike rental. Also, they had coin laundry.

A bit run down. I asked for additional pillows. When they brought them, they smelled bad. Couldn't use them.

The location was close to the train station, restaurants, bike rentals, and the Little Mermaid bakery. We rode part of the Shimanami Bike Route to ikuchijima, then caught the ferry from Setoda back to Onomichi.

The location was nice, across the street from the waterfront. We watched a small ship dock. That was fun. Also, the room was quiet.

Good value for money, we were only there for a night before we started the bike trail. Bike place is across the road so handy location for that, and not far from the train station. Room was spacious and had a nice TV with streaming apps. Aircon was able to be controlled in the bedroom which meant we could sleep at a comfortable temperature The staff member at reception was friendly and attentive

The hotel is a bit dated but we felt it was priced accordingly so not disappointed

The location was the greatest thing about this place. Nice that you could store your luggage for a couple of days. The rest was pretty mediocre.

It was noisy, a bit worn down.A bit too expensive.

The property is an older building but the interior is well maintained

Averagely clean room.

Every time you left the hotel, you had to leave and retrieve your room key with the front desk. This is especially annoying if you are just trying to run to the conbini. There is a microwave, but it's also behind the front desk so they have to use it for you. The room was obviously a smoking room in the past and a smell persists, dark spots on the grout in the shower, bad water pressure both from the shower and the bidet.

Not a complaint but this is quite a basic hotel, so have the right expectations coming in. Beds are more spring-y.

Excellent location for cycle hire collection. Staff were very attentive and organised our luggage transfer for us. Breakfast was good value for money.

Regulating the aircon in the room to get to a comfortable temperature was difficult so it was first a hot then a cold nights sleep.

The location

The AC was on "locked" mode so you couldn't use it AT ALL. I reported this to the front desk and they said that's the way it is and couldn't be changed.

The hotel is very near to the shimanami bicycle rental place, and it's a short walk from the train station. You can also use the sagawa service to mail your luggage here if you are staying in this hotel and will be doing the shimanami kaido cycle.

The design of the hotel is a bit aged, could have done a make over, the hotel room is smaller than expected for the price paid.

Friendly service, clean and silent room, cheap buffet breakfast, laundry area. Dedicated garage to store and manage your tour bicycle. Rental bicycle service across the road, 1 minute to a conbini, 5 minutes to the station and the ferry transport. Ideal location for the Shimanami Kaido.

Room bathroom was a bit small and outdated. Personally I don't like moquette pavements.I would like to have some bottle of water in the minibar.

Great location. Close to bike rental, ferry and station. Friendly staff.The current score of this hotel is way too low.In reply to a previous review a sign is now warning of slippery stairs :)

You have to leave the room key when you go out. Front doors is locked between 0am and 5am
