Everything except i feel rooms and washroom could be more luxurious at this price point. The view from the room is tremendous at all times.

The network of lifts and passages leading to the rooms could be a little better decorative.

Views of the valley

Staff, specially at the reception. Very unprofessional and rude. They don’t know how to treat the guests. Breakfast was not that good staff don’t listen and untrained.

Had a wonderful 3-day stay at Sterling Mussoorie with our kids. It was our anniversary, and the team made it truly special with a beautiful candlelight dinner setup for our family. Special thanks to the entire restaurant team for their warm hospitality. Great service, lovely ambiance, and heartfelt memories!

Poor service quality and a forgettable stay at a supposedly high rated hotel

Service is extremely poor. Staff seems uninterested in serving the guests.1. Live counter service was mismanaged at breakfast and request for a simple dish like dosa was not obliged, and we were made to wait for a long time for the same. Though, it was better managed the following day.2. No prior warning issued that railing across the sidewalk are wet and painted so as to caution guests to not touch them while walking up or down ramp.3. Our requests for an extra bottle of water at the hotel room was never obliged.4. On the day of checkin we were told that kids play area is open until 7:30 pm. So we arrived there at 7 thinking that kids will play for half an hour and then e would proceed for dinner. But the kids play area was closed as we arrived with all lights put out and we were told that now they will have adults entertainment via karaoke singing.5. On the day of checkout no one turned up to pick up luggage despite calling them 3 times and wating 40 minutes on the day of checkout. We had to carry our own luggage with the extra baby stuff as a family of four with two kids, one being an infant. Even during our way out, we asked the 4 staff members grouped together that we encountered for assistance but they reminded us to call reception, and someone will be on their way for assistance. Moreover, the labyrinth of passageways and multiple elevators did not make the job easier as our room was valleyview, which was on the far side of the hotel lobby though we finally met the staff member on the third and final elevator to the reception who was alloted to pick up our luggage.6. After one of our dinners during our stay, we also got stuck in one of the elevators as there was a brief power cut. But despite triggering the alarm in the elevator, no staff came forward and the other controls within the elevator were not responding. Luckily another family waiting on the other side got us out because they the elevator responded to their touch panel.

Amazing view directly from rooms, loaded with activities inside properties, perfect for family, especially with small kids.

Location is far from Mall road approx 5 km, where as on google map it shows only 2.5km.

Neat and clean. Excellent property

Didn’t get hot water supply for few hrs due to some maintenance issue. Hotel staff at the reception (cant remember her name) tried to take the phone on some pretext and posted her own review. ?

Breakfast, View and food was very good

Service is slow, should be enhanced. They are not providing facility as per they are charging. Indoor games shouldn't be charged in stay, they are charging for each and everything apart from room tariff.

Beautiful property with great view from our rooms.. neat and clean facility everywhere, very humble and courteous staff, good parking space.. food was very good ..

Only location

Property should be renovated soon floors were like very old property . Golf car or elevator services must be provided to reach to the rooms. There are more then 100 stairs to reach to property and same is to come back to reception

Stay n breakfast was good.. But they have made mistake in payments. Charged me for an extra room and have not solved my problem. V bad communication... Have called n made so many request to the staff but no response as yet... V annoyed with their system..

Wrong charges done.. Towels were v bad.. On request we got better next day

The breakfast is good, Location of the hotel is good.

Wifi is horrible, there is no lift to most of the hotel area. seems like you are hiking in the hotel. No network in the hotel.

Pleasant

The furniture state was old. Bathrooms were not clean and also the shower was not having force of water. Things were rusted.

The location is awesome. The property is located very close to Mall Road but we were a little unfortunate - the shorter route was under renovation, so we had to take the long route every time. The property is built on a cliff with breath taking views of Dehradun.

Because the property is built on a cliff, you might have to climb down/up a million stairs to reach your room (depending on which room you selected). Make sure you confirm with the staff how much you would need to walk to get to your room if you have children / elders with you.

The location, ambience and infrastructure

Despite being booked the highest value room, the view was not worth it. They have the best view in low category rooms even though few suites have best valley view but the over proud front office staff didn't even think of providing the room in comparison of amount/value paid for booking
