Tokyu Stay Okinawa Naha

Staff is pleasant and polite. Responses to my email inquiries were expeditiously answered. Location is great to groceries as Don Quixote is right on 1st floor, near Naha major bus terminal, by a monorail station, walking distance to Kokusai Dori Street.

Look up! When we arrived we circled the building and block several times. Only when we got out and looked at the building where the sign was that we found out it was on the 5th to 12th floors.

The hotel is on top of donki! Lots restaurants and mall near walking distance. Rooms are very clean and good size. Staff excellent in fact we forgot valuables in safe and they kept it for us for a week!

I like that the room was reasonably comfortable for two adults. The queen bed was good; mattress was firm. The toiletries provided are sufficient and good. The whole hotel looked cheery and bright. Staff are friendly and helpful.The location of the hotel was very convenient; just a 5min walk to the monorail station at Tsubogawa station number 5 hence easy commute to and from the Naha Airport and elsewhere.

The pillows could be firmer. The TV does not have any news channels like BBC or CNN. Only NHK which is not so good for international news.No swimming pool; perhaps there are many beaches nearby so there is no need.

The breakfast was beyond our highest expectations. The Okinawan specialties were amazing! Also, the room was immaculate and we felt safe and cared for.

Everything was so clean and wonderful. The staff answered all of our questions with friendliness even though English was not there first language. They made us feel welcome. We have nothing to add here.

The hotel close to supermarket, very convenient we don’t need worry the meal. The most important the room have microwave. We bought meal in supermarket and warm it at room to eat. Another like is the hotel close the train station. It good for us traveling around area.

The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Tsubogawa monorail station. Even better there is secured access to 2F of Don Quixote located in the same building. The free teabags for guests are excellent. There is also a lovely terrace garden on the reception floor for guests to use in good weather. The washing machine in the room is heaven sent.

We were there for two split stays. In the second phase of our stay, the room we were given had USB ports on both sides of the headboard that didn't work, a sink that had an unusable stopper and water flow so small filling the sink to wash my face took an eternity. As there is no room service, I waited till checking out to inform the reception. To be fair, they were very receptive of the feedback.

The hotel is located near the monorail station, offering easy access to the airport. There’s a Don Quijote store right downstairs. It was super convenient because we didn’t have to carry heavy shopping bags far. Unlike the Don Quijote in central Naha (along Kokusai Street), where the tax‑free checkout lines were extremely long, this smaller store was less crowded and we did not need to wait in line to pay for our duty free shopping. We also liked the fact that this store had lots of ready-to-eat deli food such as sushi tray, fried chicken etc. The room is equipped with a washer‑dryer. It was nice that we came home with a suitcase packed mostly with clean clothes.

The dryer was quite weak. We had to run the dryer twice for each load, and thicker clothes were still slightly damp even after the second cycle. The machine clearly needs maintenance, as the inefficient dryer function caused by built-up dust and lint is common for washer-dryer combination machine. It still worked good enough for us as we only needed to wash light clothes such as swimming wear, underwear, socks and T-shirts.

The location was great. It was about 5 minutes walk to the monorail station, and Don Quijote was right downstairs of the hotel. The riverside view of the room was nice. We enjoyed our stay.

The restroom was not bright enough. The tub was a bit tall that was risky to cross in and out for the elderly or kids.

Great facilities, comfortable room, great breakfast. Very good value and good location

The washing machine in the room wasn't very functional, drying didn't work well so we had to dry the clothes in the room.

I like how it was close to the airport and easy to get around.

This was our first time visiting Okinawa. We checked into our two rooms late the first night. The rooms smelled like mold. It was so bad, it kicked up my sons allergies and gave me a headache. Since it was late, I waited until the morning to ask to switch rooms. Admir was great and gave us a different room. The smell was still there but not as bad.

The hotel was convenient to the tsubogawa monorail station number 5, taking about 5 minute or less walk(I am a slow walker). It is situated on top of the Don Quiote store so it is convenient to get some food, snacks and supplies. It is about a 5 minute or less walk to the 7-eleven store and Family mart. There is a breakfast buffet offered from 6:30-10:30am and it is pretty good. There are taxis that can be called and you can wait conveniently in the lobby on the 5th floor for them to arrive. Also it is near some restaurants within walking distance and there is a Mr. Donuts across the street. The monorail is 2 stops away from the prefecture station number 7 so pretty fast to get to where a lot of the tour buses are stationed. Bus stop is a few blocks away as well. Overall the location is nice, we got a room with the view of the ocean across the way and there is a park nearby that is also within walking distance. One more thing is they offer good amenities like moisturizing face wash and lotion, shower caps, shower sponges, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, shower cloth, slippers, pajamas and of course your usual shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There are numerous tea bags to make your own tea in the room and free coffee and cocoa in the lobby. There is a washer/dryer combo in the room to wash your clothes but not clear instructions. We had to goggle how to use it and it took like 6-8 hours to dry for some reason. Overall though a great place to stay!

Our refrigerator was not working and we put our extra dinner and drinks in there and come to find it all went bad! Also they had to come to fix the air conditioner but it was done promptly and worked fine after that. Also the washer/dryer had limited instructions in English so we had to goggle it and the time it took to dry the clothes was like 6-8 hours which seems crazy! Maybe we had it on the wrong setting or something, but it was hard to figure out!!

Great location near kokusai Dori, main bus station, and just a few minutes walk to the monorail station which is only 4 stops from the airport. Also, the hotel is connected to donki! Washer dryer unit is great and detergent is even provided.Perfect for a couple nights stay if you need to be close to the airport. Nice tv.

Room is a bit small, but fine for just a couple nights.

Location was in a quiet area

I stayed 6 nights and the hotel refused to change sheets for 6 nights!! The room was small.

Clean hotel, friendly staff who quickly swapped out our fridge in the room as it was broken. Right above a donki store which was convenient. Beds were pretty comfortable. You can use a coffee machine in the lobby for free.

The pool is only a shallow pool.

The property is modern, clean, and the breakfast is good.The rooms are spacious and having a washing machine in the room is very convenient.

The location, I didn’t particularly like Naha in general, but around this place specifically there weren’t many things to do or so it seemed to me.4 stars hotel asking extra money for cleaning the room is the main reason for my relatively low rating.

It was extremely easy to find the hotel from the monorail station nearby, which was lovely since we came directly from the airport. The hotel facilities were great. It was clean, and we were offered a variety of free amenities and drinks until 22pm at night. It seemed like there was staff at the reception all day and night, which was nice. Kids were very welcome, which we appreciated. Outside the lobby there was a well kept pretty garden with a pond with sprinklers, which contributed to the nice atmosphere. The staff were kind and helpful and helped us with any request we had during the stay. The room was as described and shown in the photos, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom and shower was great! We didnt try the breakfast at the hotel because there were so many options to eat out nearby. The next door neighbour to the hotel is a huuuuge store on two big floors full of every item one could imagine to buy, with a Japanese twist. Clothes, bags, food, snacks, toys (a lot of toys!!), kitchen items and the list continues. It was quite impressive. All in all a great stay, and I wouldn't mind coming back, especially because of the location.
