Lots of food options and market within walking distance, and more souvenir shops than you can count. Metro is less than a minute away, and taxi and food delivery was readily available. Fairly clean showers and bathrooms. Coffee and drinks available all day in the common area. Good wifi speed.

My unit had a window facing the street, but unfortunately, the window did nothing to stop the traffic noise, even on the 4th floor. Although cubicles had doors and key locks, every door being opened and closed on your floor sounded like cannons going off. Apparently, signs posted everywhere to be mindful of noise can't be enforced. You must be deaf, or nearly deaf, or must be obvious to cannon fire all night. If you're a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. As respectful as Japanese are, closing doors quietly with paper thin walls is a concept that's too difficult for them. I chose the breakfast option, which was a mistake, as ALL 9 days the menu did not change, not a buffet like other places. Very few spoke English at the front desk; so Google translate or Chatgpt. I can't say that I'll be returning, but others may have more tolerance than me.

Amazing location, right in the Kokusai Dori. I liked the free hibiscus tea at reception. The breakfast was mediocre but can't complain about the price.

I've been made aware that Okinawa does not feature as many air conditioners compared to mainland Japan, so in my room you cannot regulate the temperature. That said it was fine in January. Trying to sleep early might be a bit hard; room was facing Kokusai Dori so you'll hear all the shop noise until they close for the night.

Friendly staff, good location next to Makishi station. Room is small but it's all you need when you are alone.

The bed was a little hard, but that's because I'm not used to Japanese mattreses :)

Very kind staff, were able to just the rooms on the fly to help us out even with how late we checked in.

Everything was great!!! Location, personal, comfy bed, tasty breakfast!!

The doors!! Doors are too loud, guests do not closed the door quietly gently, so often you get wake up because of noisy doors, specially if the room is close to shower and toilets! Too noise all evenig and all mornin, hard to sleep even with earplugs, maybe put some noise defenders on every door.

Very close to the monorail station, the bis stop and Kokusai street, so it's very convenient to travel around Naha city. All staffs were so nice. I traveled alone and I found that this place's very valuable and safe to stay.

Not that noisy but you can hear sound from the corridor or the next room.

Very friendly staff and comfortable accommodation. The shared facilities are immaculate. Right in the centre of it.

The staff when I checked in were really nice and even upgraded my room! The breakfast was great and the location on the main shopping street was convenient. Facilities were very clean.

It was quite noisy and some alarms went off during the night. I thought we must be getting evacuated so didn't have a very restful night.

A brilliant stay, don’t expect 5* facilities, but it’s a brilliant low budget stay for Okinawa, it is right by all the main stuff. And a brilliant stay. Don’t listen to the negative reviews, everything was brilliant

    10ChanakarnPosted on: 10-25-2024

Everything is clean. Nice staff. Right next to the shopping street

Nothing except the wall is so thin but I had my earplugs on so it would be perfect.

Location is right on Kokusai dori, near the Makishi monorail station. Easy to locate as you can see the top of the building from the station. It is also near the alley with the food court and izakayas, and quite near Makishi market. I really liked the common areas in the hostel - the spacious lounge (turns into the breakfast area in the morning) with some seats facing out the windows, perfect for watching the busy street below; and the smaller quiet lounge areas on each floor also with seats facing out the windows. The room is small but clean enough, same for the toilets/showers/sinks. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided, as are bath and face towels. The room doesn't feel stuffy, and a mini fan is provided to help further circulate the air. The staff are friendly, especially the Nepalese guy! Breakfast is simple but good enough - the fact that such a breakfast is included in the price is quite amazing. Coffee and cold jasmine tea and hibiscus tea are available throughout the day. This place was perfect for the last days of my trip before flying home as I had the privacy to spread my things out on the floor and pack my luggage, and the hostel also provides a luggage weighing scale at the second floor lounge area.

My room faced the street, which was nice, but also meant that there was some street noise. The walls can be a bit thin and the sound of my neighbour's door opening and closing late at night woke me up. The toilets also tended to have a slight smell (not a big deal, it's as if someone had done a big one in the toilet 15 minutes before) - not because they were not clean, and not because there was no ventilation, but possibly because of the plumbing. There are no fridges but they provide freezer bins with reusable ice packs and insulated bags, though the bags are not always there and so people end up placing their items into the bins even though one isn't supposed to. One thing to note is that it can be pretty hard during morning rush hour to get onto the train headed to the airport at Makishi monorail station (esp with luggage), as it is packed with workers who all get off at the Prefectural Office station further down. Good to cater enough time to miss a few trains if one's trip to the airport on the monorail coincides with peak hour.

The bathroom/laundry facilities were nice. The bedding was fresh and clean.

The room was awful. A capsule hotel will naturally have a very small room but that small space should be a tolerable, comfortable environment and this was not.

    8LydiaPosted on: 10-1-2024

Location was great, just next to the shopping street. Also, public transportation is quite close. The rooms are quite big for a caps hotel.

The air is really humid in the hotel, but they have some equipment running to get into that better. Otherwise nice palce to stay for short term.

    8NicolasPosted on: 9-22-2024

The staff is kind, polite and helpfull. The shared space, the room and bathroom are clean, Location is right on kokusai street, difficult to beat.Towel, toothbrush, shower gel and soap provided like in a normal hotel ? Free coffee is also nice ?

At the moment they are renovating some oart of the building, so after 9am jt is quite noisy.Isolation between the room could be improved

    8LydiaPosted on: 9-22-2024

Location is great! It is in the centre, easy to reach from the Airport. Also, the nice shopping street is just a couple of minutes walking distance away. The room is quite big for a caps room, this is great.

In the night it can be noise, there are some guests which are waking quite early up and making noises. They cut remove dust the walls in the room ;)
