Posta Design in Como is by FAR the best of 6 hotels on our 19-day Italy trip. Everything was PERFECT: the room, the cleanliness, the staff in the hotel and restaurant, and the location is right in the middle of everything while being quiet

Location -

The location was fantastic. Very central, on a pretty piazza

The decor of the rooms was bland. No lighting in the desk alcove

Location was exceptional

First room was awful; smelled terrible and had no windows! No coffee in room, bathroom electric outlet didn’t work. Towel warmer didn’t work. Staff corrected swiftly by moving us the next day.

Room size, amenities and location

The location is excellent, near everything.

They don’t give you any help for getting there or leaving with a car or luggage, it’s simply your problem. There’s no way to get there by car, the hotel is inside the ZTL and they don’t help tou with that, and when you get there by yourself they don’t have any way of helping you with your luggage.The WiFi is also almost unusable, and every time you leave the hotel and get back (or even when it just looses connection- and it happens a lot) you gotta go through the registration process all over again.

Good: Location + staff + nice room with balcony.Not-so-nice: Toilet seat was very uncomfortable, mounting to wall was broken.

Location is amazing in middle of Como and very short walk to lake and stadium if football is your thing

The location is amazing, the staff are great. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing.

Three is a wired smell in the room comes from the restaurant on Ground floor. There is no refrigerator, and the toilet doesn’t have heating system.the floor was freezing.

Cleanliness. A few staff was very helpful in getting taxi and directions. Wonderful.

Some waiters and waitress very stoic not pleasant

Loved the spacious rooms, chic and elegantly designed interioriors with minimalistic yet user-friendly touch. The location is unbeatable and the Cafe downstairs is quite convenient for gatherings when travelling as a group.

The location bears with it quite some noise till late night hours.

That's my wife and I been coming here for two years in a row. The staff are lovely and always try to help if you have a question. Hotel is clean and facilities are great. Food at the restaurant is great also.

Be great to have a kettle

I loved the crisp fresh bedding.

The staff were all very pleasant apart from one. He may be the manager but was very gruff, never smiled and made me feel that my presence was inconveniencing him. I hope he is not there when I next stay at the hotel.

Front reception area to small

The location was excellent-- centrally located in Como in a large piazza with many restaurants, close to the lakefront and ferry docks. The hotel front desk allowed us to store our luggage before we checked in. There was a heated towel rack in the bathroom that was handy for drying clothes that we washed in the sink. The room was clean and felt new, with plenty of windows that made it feel bright and welcoming. Very nice large shower with rainfall shower head as well as hand-held nozzle. Free bottled water in the room, replaced daily. Comfortable bed. Plenty of power outlets for charging phones.The hotel has a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. We had dinner there a couple of times during our stay, and the food and service was excellent.

Our room had no coffee maker, fridge or microwave. Of course, great coffee can be found all over Como, so this was not a major problem. The hotel's central location also means that there was a bit of noise during the day and later into the evenings, but the thick windows blocked most of that out.

No coffee or tea making facilities in the room

Great location, really comfortable beds, clean and modern, welcoming staff. Would definitely stay again. Appreciated being able to leave our luggage after check out.

Being in a central location means there is a bit of noise at night but it didn’t disturb us.

It’s in the centre of town and only a two minute walk to the lake. It’s also a really clean and comfortable room.

I liked everything but a PowerPoint next to the bed would have been nice.

Amazing location. Lovely big rooms. Great bar and a good vibe. Friendly and helpful staff. Pillows were like sleeping on air!

Needs small fridge in the room. No hooks to hang the towels on in our bathroom. Need an extra mirror in the room somewhere other than in the wardrobe. Pretty minor things, don’t let this put you off.
