Hotel Borgo Antico

Good location. Breakfast was great. front desk very helpful and courteous as well as FRIENDLY.

The room was lovely, staff were helpful and welcoming. Great location for walking to the old district and lakeside.

Parking was not as accessible as we had hoped. We did, eventually, get pay parking on the street not too far from the hotel.

Front desk receptionist was amazing. She was warm and made us feel welcomed. The property itself was charming and had a lot of character. We wished we could’ve stayed on more night.

It would’ve been nice to have a small fridge in our room but since we only stayed one night it wasn’t a big deal.

Quaint, quiet, but spacious room.. staff was very helpful. Both front desk and breakfast room.

The only shortcoming was a lack of facial tissues.

Far enough for quiet yet close enough to restaurants shopping & ferry.

I was greeted by the exceptional staff. They went out of their way to make sure they had a satisfied guest. The room was very clean and decor fit the environment. Getting up the next morning to a fabulous breakfast. What else could you ask for!!!

Breakfast was pretty decent. Value for the money.

There were some issues with A/C. Location was little away from the core downtown Como.

Location is convenient for the station, building is charming, quality of room was fine for the price given the location.

A little understaffed at reception during the day as he was also working as the waiter/barman for the terrace.

Nice location. Breakfast was mediocre - except the lemon cake was delicious! Nice that it was right there in the hotel so we could go right out after. Limited choices though.

The girl at the desk was bit unfriendly. I expected someone to be more welcoming and helpful.

The hotel is an adorable boutique hotel close to the city center. The staff was terrific, and very accommodating! We will definitely be back!

We lived it all!

Very nice ambience, neighborhood and breakfast. The perfect location if you’re arriving by train as the station is right behind it but not noisy. There are four very nice looking restaurants on the block. The one on the left of the hotel, adjacent to the flower shop, was truly memorable.

Liked it all except that the parking was a bit tricky at first. Parking is in an underground garage one block away. Pay attention to directions or you’ll wind up in traffic. Ignore the sign that says Full or its Italian equivalent. Just enter and look for green lights which indicate vacant spots.

The hotel was very convenient and quiet. Easy to walk from the train and to the downtown. Comfortable. Lovely garden room and living area for reading in the evening. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff were super helpful.

There was a sudden temperature drop on the weekend we were there and the rooms were a bit chilly - so if we just stayed in the room to rest a bit in the afternoon or watch TV, we needed the big warm blankets!

It was not far from the train station and from other places. The breakfast was good.

The key lock on my room wasn't working so they had to fix the door key many times . They brought a man to fix it because I couldn't come in to my room

The hotel was amazing, couldn't fault it, and highly recommend the hotel, staff very friendly and very helpful. The hotel location is great with many bars and restaurants in the same street as the hotel. Room had old time charm, it was very welcoming and presentable. Please stay here if you are visiting Como.
