Avenue Boutique Hotel

Great location in the old city with narrow cobble stone streets and very little traffic. The staff were very helpful, our room was very clean and comfortable. Included breakfast was varied and good.

Excellent staff, location, and breakfast. The team is exceptionally polite, humble, and always willing to help, which truly enhances the overall experience.

It is a small hotel with limited facilities. Access to the upper floor can be challenging with a stroller due to stairs, and there is no luggage cart available (though the staff are always polite and humble in assisting with your bags). The suite windows are located on the ceiling, which makes them less comfortable and limits natural light.

We loved everything about our stay — from the smooth check-in and warm hospitality to the perfect location close to everything in Como. The breakfast was easily the best in town, with amazing variety and quality. After checkout, we stopped by the hotel café to grab cappuccinos for the road, and to our surprise, they kindly refused to let us pay — such a thoughtful gesture that truly reflects their exceptional hospitality.

Room describe as king bed, but is really a queen mattress.

I can’t express my great experience at this property, the hospitality and kindness of the employees, the cleanliness of the room and the location as well, everything was excellent, whenever i come back to Como i will choose Avenue hotel.

Couldn’t turn air conditioning down to comfortable temperature, stairway to suite was narrow and twisting.

I really enjoyed everything about the hotel, but I especially want to thank all the staff for the atmosphere, the attention to details and the warm attitude towards the guests.

The property was very clean, quiet and conveniently located in the Old City area of Como, within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the harbor and without luggage also walking distance to the train station. Staff is polite and professional. I would have appreciated if a staff member had reached out to us upon arrival to see if we needed any assistance with dinner recommendations and day tours/things to do. The hotel restaurant was nice and I felt it was worth the additional cost of the breakfast option, though the buffet items were not easily accessible, but to order items were a good selection and quality (amazing pancakes). Rooms were nicely decorated, but lacking in storage space. I do feel that given the limited amenities, small room size and non-view location of the property that nightly rates were a bit excessive, but overall a nice property and stay for myself and my adult daughter.

Facilities. No air conditioning. Not informed in advance about it. One in the group has asthma and must have air conditioning at night. Windows could not be opened due to street noise (we were in street level).

I had an outstanding stay at Avenue Hotel in Como. Everything from the moment I arrived was perfect. The staff were warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. My room was spotless,making it a peaceful retreat after a day exploring Como.The location is ideal—close to key attractions yet wonderfully quiet. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety of fresh options to start the day right. Every detail, from cleanliness to service, was impeccable.I highly recommend Avenue Hotel to anyone visiting Como. It truly exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to returning!

Great location, very delicious breakfast and good service team. We enjoyed this beautiful hotel 7 days and were very happy with our stay because of very nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. Bed and pillows terribly uncomfortable. Hard flat felt like cardboard box. No robe. Strong smell of sewage in bathroom. Walls paper thin.

Very well located at the heart of the Historic Center and at the same time at a silent corner. Amazing breakfast with a nice buffet and a menu offer with brunch style dishes.

Terrible room, really small, mattress was old and not really comfortable, it lacks interior design quality. It looks like a business hotel, not as a 4-star boutique hotel. At the restaurant, staff looks stressed, which makes what could be a rather pleasant meal to turn into a rushed experience.
