Location is fine

We faced a wearied incident for the first time ever the safe from one of the rooms was removed altogether with its contents with four passports and a wallet the owner of the hotel reacted in a very bad way he left the hotel right after the police arrived!

Staff was very friendly and others provided superior customer service! Thank you

I book this hotel already for the 2-d year while staying in Lugano. Excellent location-on a lake side, quick access to the bus station, the embankment is in front of it- y can reach the center in 5-7 min on foot. the atmosphere in the hotel is quite, no noise, the stuff is very friendly both on reception and in breakfast area, ready to assist you in any time. Breakfast is European style (enough to have it in the morning). i fully recommend it. the price level is OK for Switzerland ( for sure can be a bit less). next year will book it again.

Great location with bus right near the entrance, big room (Junior suite), clean, comfortable and big double bed, no carpet (important for us due to allergies), very nice staff, OK beeakfast.

Water pessure in shower was weak if you wanted hot water, sofa bed was very uncimfortable to sleep on, kettle was not working properly, we asked to replace it but that didn't happen, there was construction very close by which meant noise from 7 AM. Breakfast could be richer.

The staff was no good they charge me 76 frank five bottles of water and city taxes wich is 18 franks

Complicated parking options, typically understaffed reception. Room facilities somewhat outdated for the price. One of the built-in lights was blinking in the room, also a sign of poor maintenance

Everything was well-ordered, clean and comfortable with a great view over the lake, staff were friendly and helpful, the customer liaison representative was extremely helpful and friendly and of great assistance when planning local sightseeing and transport.

Breakfast was a bit boring though nutritious, limited exercise options, rooms somewhat spartan and plain.

Staff at the reception and at breakfast extremely kind and helpful. Very good breakfast with excellent home-made cakes. We chose a room with a view on the lake. It was wonderful. Never getting tired from looking outside of the window...

One of the reasons for which i chose this hotel was that it had a restaurant. Unfortunately, in low season, the restaurant was closed... The switch on the lights is very difficult to understand. We had to call in somebody from the reception to explain the mechanism ...

Appeared old tired place, you can hear people walking above and around, no sound proofing. Very average breakfast. Location slightly away from the Center. Although helpful and friendly personnel.

We had a lovely stay with amazing staff in a great classic design hotel with a charming and magical lake view in Lugano

The staff at the reception was excellent. The common areas seemed to be nice and clean. Breakfast was satisfactory.

We rented a three person room and one person sofa bed wasn't made for sleeping (duvet under cover, pillow in the closet). There was one big towel and two medium towels for three adults. Bathtub was very slippery - not safe for senior travelers. Curtains had big (what I suspect cigarette) holes in them.

It was very pretty, the lobby was really nice and the restaurant was beautiful!!

The location could not be better. Links to local transport links were great- ask for a Ticino card, public transport in the region will be free. The hotel overlooks the lake and the views are spectacular.

Clean, people and staffs were very friendly.

Room was small and it costed the same as other rooms which were bigger. We went for an upgrade via Booking.com to a suite before our holiday , we were charged for the upgrade, but the hotel did not arrange the upgrade when we got there. However, they refunded us the difference.

We stayed here for a special occasion. The view from our room (superior suite) was beautiful, and it was an extra luxury to have two balconies. The staff were generally very friendly and welcoming. It is only a short walk along the lake to the centre of Lugano from the hotel. We enjoyed returning from our day out to the staff playing piano in the restaurant. Breakfast was also very nice. We stayed for a long weekend but would have loved to have stayed longer! We would visit this hotel again.

The mini bar fridge was very dirty. On one day it rained heavily- the flimsy roof of the breakfast room was held up with wooden sticks at one end of the room, and after a while started leaking. The staff were busy keeping the floor dry- their work was appreciated, but it wasn’t nice to have people mopping the floor while we were eating breakfast. Of course you can’t change the weather but you can change the roof. We had to ask for the Ticino guest card, which we only knew about because we live in Switzerland. I can imagine many guests miss out on this benefit.
