- Hotel location was great! A great outdoor area, big rooms with a balcony with a mountain view. The swimming pool area was huge and well organised with cantine to eat and drink, toilets, sunbeds and showers and changing rooms. We spent the entire day there as we visited on a very hot day. The hotel has a small playground for the kids.
- nice place with helpful and friendly staff
- The place and the surroundings are very nice. The dining and breakfast venues are amazing.
Cons -
- As we arrived on a very hot day, unfortunately, there was not any air conditioning in the room or even a fan. We had to open the balcony door to let the air come.though and all the mosquitoes and night flying from the woods!.They should have provided us with a fan at least!
- sadly there was a big group of students who were a little noisy but just being kids
- The stairs. A lot of stairs. Everything else was good.

Rooms are simple but very spacious! The hotel is extremely clean!! The swimming pool a must! All in all we had a great stay!
The location of the property is phenomenal. It’s like finding a hidden treasure .Food was also very good . The stuff are very pet friendly . The bed was comfortable absolutely loved it . We’ll definitely be back .
TWINT!!. You can’t pay with TWINT .
Location and facilities were amazing. Breakfast was overpriced except for the breakfast everthing was great.
Beautifully located in a small village of Malcantone, not far from Ponte Tresa. The view towards Italy is like a view from a jungle lodge. Part of the complex is designed as a Roman villa. The bungalows are in Spanish style. From simply furnished to very good. The food is very tasty. A short hour walk away is the only gold mine in Switzerland, which you can visit. Pure relaxation.
When it rains, it's like being in the tropics.
a nice location with a breathtaking view. sufficient breakfast. calm and charming
everything was good
nice spacious patio with views over the mountains, comfortable beds, good food, swimming pool with toboggan, well organised. deck chairs and towels provided at the pool when you have a room. Nice view from the balcony. Possibility to visit an interesting good. one and wild swimming in cool mountain pools close by.
walking to the pool takes 5 minutes but it’s ok. The pool, though public, is not too crowded apart from the Friday when a school group visited. The room was without air conditioning and very hot.
great service and great food - good value for money and especially good for children with the super pool
rooms a little dated and not noise proof
Friendly staff. Nice room with terrace.
Absolutely fantastic place with amazing food and staff working there. Rooms very clean and quite spacious for the family. In addition you have access to the outside pool which is a great addition to your stay in Sessa ???
Pity, there is no kettle in the room to make some tea. Also, it would be nice to have something warm for breakfast.
The location on top of a hill is a bit hard to access (continuous traffic jam along the lake side) but it is nice to be outside the lakeside frenzy in the evening. Very quiet nights. Forest parking guarantees a cool car even in hot summer days. Dogs accepted. Pleasant courtyard with fountain.
Old bungalows with barely acceptable comfort (my husband and I slept on a horrible sleeper couch, too small, split in the middle, and with bad mattress)Staff overall friendly but a few very rude members. Dining at restaurant required early morning booking (and they will refuse you even if the restaurant is half empty if you failed to reserve)Pool is Nice (not exceptional but nice) with friendly staff and attentive lifeguard - but we were off season, watch-out if you come in the summer season, the pool is not reserved to the hotel guests and is listed as the #1 attraction for families on holiday in the area, it must be incredibly crowded. No help to load or unload luggage’s even when traveling as single mother with 3 kids. You’re provided a trolley but it is difficult to navigate on the dust and gravel roads to the bungalows.
Super friendly staff, beautiful restaurant and amazing food. Pool shut early and shut half an hour before it was supposed to, but we got 5 minutes in. Loved the peacefulness of the countryside, would stay here again.
We were really pleased with the service we received in I Grappoli. Great food, helpful staff, good services and awesome environment, also for people with small children. Our little girl (4 years old) started to cry when we left the hotel, she said she would like to live there.
Nice location in the middle of the forrest. Great place for families - playground and swimming pool with slides on the site. Good place for walks. We needed 2 baby cribs in the room and everything was prepared before our departure even before the official check-in time.
Hotel corridors were noisy.
The location is fantastic, surrounded by woods, in the quiet country side, and within walking distance to the village of Sessa, were there is a small supermarket and a couple of nice restaurants. The pool is great, although access is not only for hotel guests. Nice garden with playground for the little ones. They organise activities for the kids (one evening they had a magician while we were there). Good breakfast and excellent food.
The decoration of the room needs an update. No air conditioned and no elevator. I was a bit disappointed that the few things in the Game Room (pool and ping-pong table) worked with coins and not free for hotel guests. The road from Agno to Ponte Tresa always had a lot of traffic (of course not the hotel's fault, but worth knowing before booking).
Quiet and peaceful place away from traffic sound with all those fun for children, bed also comfortable, breakfast was awesome too!
Maybe an extra spare of toilet paper would be good, especially for more then 1 person in the room.
Very friendly, patient and flexible staff, beautiful location surrounded by mountains, rich flora with green forests, palm trees and flowers everywhere. There is a film museum, playing room, big terrace, playground for the kids. The restaurant has a rich menu and the food is amazing.
The rooms could be newer, otherwise nothing bad to say.
