Cheapest option in Lugano

It’s on a busy street, but we were able to sleep ok. It’s close to the train station and easy to walk to but all the action is below the train station closer to the lake. Good for value and a night.

Close to the train station, basic ammenities-but very clean and updated, and economically priced.

Not just this hotel by far, but it was very hot that day and a standing fan in the room would make a world of difference.

The fellow at the front desk in the evening was very helping opening the transportation ticket on our cell phone. We liked that the bus stop right in front of the hotel

Great location; very central. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is on a busy street, and you'll hear some traffic noise regardless of where your room is because the windows are not very soundproof. It didn't bother us, but it could be a deal-breaker for some.

It was 3 min walk from train station, good for older female solo traveler

The construction at the train station made it hard to find hotel as many lanes and streets were blocked

hotel is exceptionally quite, close to train station, and staff are very nice , I really enjoyed the stay for three days

The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the railway station. Gabrielle from the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodated our requests.

The quantity of the bath gel sachets was insufficient. It would have been more efficient and environmentally friendly to provide the gel in a single soap dispenser instead of multiple plastic sachets with tiny amounts of gel.

Location. Very convenient

- no shower enclosure. Bathtub with handheld shower - no soap dispenser. Instead soap packets. Very Stingy with soap and very inconvenient .

The staff were very welcoming and helpful during check in. Our rooms were comfortable. It is a short walk from the train station and the main part of Lugano and lake is a short funicular ride. We used the free transportation passes provided at checkin.

There is not much to do or places to eat by the hotel. You can not really walk to much from the hotel besides the train station.

The property is very clean and it was a short walk from the nearby city parking lot.

Breakfast is expensive and there are limited options within walking distance. Most of the cafes and other restaurants are a significant walk with hills. We opted to leave early and stop for breakfast on our drive. This was fine since we only stayed one night.

Location perfect. Bus stop in front of hotel to downtown. Quick 2-3 minute walk to train station on side by track number 4. Robert and staff most helpful answering travel questions and providing directions. The included Ticino ticket is amazing for Free transportation.

Property is basic. Clean and comfortable, perfect as base for day trips.

So close to train station if take the correct path (but lack of clear walking direction from the hotel)

Tiny motel like feeling, and most noticeably, the room key is attached to a heavy and bulky metal tower that hard to carry (see picture). Maybe a style 100 year ago, but total inconvenient for today's traveler. That shows the age of this hotel and the management.

The location is perfect. Close to the train station and 5 minutes on the funicalar to the city center. The front desk people were very nice and helpful. Super happy.Reasonable price for breakfast. Great price and value.

Close walk from the station but on the ‘wrong side of the tracks’. Had a balcony. Very close to a chemist.

Room was kind of ugly and a bit broken. The staff were always “too busy” to give me my Lugano card so I had to pay for local transport. Very expensive for what you get.

Nice staff. Great location to the train station. Nice take out Thai place next door that was good.

There is no shower curtain around the bathtub. There was a bad smell in the bathroom after showering. The room smell reminded me of staying at my grandparents.
