The staff were great and went out of their way to make our visit wonderful. Really enjoyed the included breakfast and dinners on the terrace in the evening.

Rooms are a bit dated but serviceable.

No parking space (we had to negotiate a spot with facility next door); problems with early morning access at 7h30am on the ground floor when trying to leave (due to security concerns); owners attempts at customer satisfaction not fully consistent

Very friendly reception from the staff. The room is simple but quite spacious and clean with a good bathroom. The bed was comfortable. Although the immediate surroundings are not the most charming, the view of the surrounding mountains is beautiful.I found the restaurant to be very good, with local dishes and a very extensive wine list, with very interesting local wines and a good selection of small bottles. Breakfast was also good with plenty of choice. I got some wine tips from the owners which was very kind and helpful.

Check-in is from 17:30 and the place seemed to be closed before then. This is logical as it is the restaurant where you check in, but just something to bear in mind if you arrive early.

Travelling across country. Great for an over night stay. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere in the restaurant was great, everyone enjoying the good food and excellent service.Room was spacious and quiet despite being next to the main road.

Great location, spacious rooms, uttermost friendly staff. Also the local sparrow was very friendly and not shy to visit the balcony and join for breakfast. ;-)

Located on a busy street, noise due to the traffic. The bathroom is not very well lit and has very basic amenities

The property was clean and close to station. Only 2 stops out of Lugano.It provides an excellent breakfast and the restaurant offers a tasty menu, with an extensive wine list.

For me it was perfect as my appointment the next morning was over the road. It is superb if you need a good feed and a great sleep and food breakfast - and the owners are really pleasant and couldn’t do enough for you!

I left my jacket at the hotel on my way to Milan. It didn't disappear and I was able to pick it up on the way back.

The accommodation cost more than the booking program showed, because there was an error and I had to pay extra.

Long day driving so needed a stop close to the motorway. Location wise this was perfect. It was late evening and we were able to book their last room and made to feel very welcome.

Restaurant was excellent - good quality food, well prepared and delicious; with an extensive range of local wines to accompany it. The room and facilities were fine for a short stopover and easily reached a short distance from the motorway exit. Although the hotel is located in a reasonably built up area, our room was very quiet and we slept well on the comfortable bed. The hosts were directly involved in the activities of the hotel and restaurant and were very welcoming and helpful before and during our stay.

The price was a little high but I'm guessing it's because it's in Switzerland. Too expensive for an overnight stay as a stop over.

Room was larger than expected and had air conditioning. Owner and his wife were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent, breakfast is served at your table which is much nicer than self service. We had a little private terrace too. Hope to return again. Nice outside terrace with vine covered pergola to eat under.

Quite noisy as next to a busy road although not too bad once the window was closed. Doesn't open until 5.30pm and no one there before that so we had to wait outside. It did mention this on the website but when you're travelling long distances it's not easy to time it correctly.

The property had a very warm, cosy atmosphere. We were welcomed by the host when arrived, parking was available, big patio for outdoor dining etc. Room was very big and clean.

The check in pretty late at 17:30. But we were allowed to check in earlier at 16:00 when we arrived.

The owner was friendly and communicative.Clean & well-maintained room with a bunk bed for kids. The dinner at the restaurant was good. The waiter was friendly.

Comfortable and friendly staff, great food in the restaurant, wifi spot on. Came and let me check in early and provided secure parking for my motorcycle. Great breakfast.
