Hotel Atlantico self check-in

We booked five rooms for 11 people and enjoyed our stay for three days. Check-in is very easy. The breakfast is really good. The rooms are clean and the staff is very kind and helpful. We are very pleased.

It is very hard to count the things why we loved about our stay. The room was super clean and spacious. The management was extraordinary. The location is excellent. Breakfast was delicious and decadent. We will definitely stay again.

The owner was wonderful, and the room and hotel were kept very clean. The room itself was spacious, and the self check-in process was smooth. Breakfast was tasty, and having access to a usable fridge downstairs was very convenient.

There is no elevator, so you need to carry your luggage up the stairs, but since it’s not a big building, it wasn’t a major issue. However, there was no kettle in the room, so I had to go downstairs each time to get hot water. The walls of the room were very thin, and I could hear the voices of the people next door the whole time. Unfortunately, the couple next to us spoke very loudly even at midnight, and in the morning there were also strange noises from them, which made it hard to rest.

This is a great location for exploring Lugano, right beside the lake. There is a fabulous Lido 5 mins walk away and it's a lovely 20 min walk round the lake into the centre, where you can find boat trips and a beach where you can swim. It's a few mins by bus from the train station. I'd recommend a boat trip to Mocarte.We had a triple room (adult and 2 teenagers) with a balcony and had plenty of space.The breakfast was lovely. I would recommend this and will stay there again if I'm in Lugano.

It was a little toasty, and although we knew this going in, we sure did miss air conditioning.

Clean, good location, quiet area. Close to transport to the city center. There was a ceiling fan in the room. You have a migro shop close by and a nice restaurant with a nice view to the lake. Friedly staff.

The comfort and cleanliness of the room were excellent, and the blackout blinds made for a perfect night's sleep. The breakfast was fantastic. The staff were very friendly and always ready to assist. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. I'll certainly be booking again!

I have no complaints

One of the best places to stay in Lugano. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The room was spacious and light! The atmosphere was very cozy. Breakfast had a lot of dishes to choose from and the hosts were very polite and show real interest in their clients. Also the room was in a very good area situated making it perfect for our 2 day stay.

Lovely spot close to everything in town . The room was quiet so we got a great sleep after big days.

It is the second time we stayed at this hotel and we loved it once again! It is simple, functional and comfortable. Large balcony. Good value for money. Nice breakfast. Super friendly hosts. About 10 minutes walk to Parco Ciani and 15 minutes to the center. Also close to a bus stop; the hotel gave us complimentary public transport tickets. Quiet, residential area.

Everything was good. For this price category, it is hard to find a better deal in Lugano.

We arrived late, but self check-in was a breeze. The room is quite cozy and the size is just right. The place is quiet at night and very close to Parco Ciani and Lugano lake. I love the unique decors that are spread out in the hallway or breakfast room. The hosts, Sara and Nicolas are wonderful. It’s a home away from home.

They facilitate thoroughly.... I requested to keep some food items in fridge, i got a mini fridge in my room (couldn't be more happy)... Lift is there to carry heavy suitcases upstairs, you just have to mention it that you need lift as it is adjacent to the attached building..... Breakfast great (heavy on the sweet palate). Late august, I didn't need any additional cooling via AC, although it was nearby my room. Daily cleaning and room service. Location is great to commute via bus in city and to lago on foot, and to hike on Monte Brè (Ticino city ticket provided upon arrival has alot of discounts, itsa free feature for tourists by this Ticino region in Switzerland..... What else, Ironing board, additional sheet, towels everything was there.... The staff and team is very communicative, caring and supportive, in case of any additional request, i just mentioned and they facilitated me. I didn't use but appreciate the free coffee tea at the ground-floor. And decorum of the place is very nice, cozy and pleasant to the eyes.

Itsa warmer region and one may find tiny ants roaming around within the buildings and rooms. They gotta live too, but they are harmless so nothing to worry about.

Charming hotel wirh easy access to public transport. Nice size comfy and clean room and bathroom with plenty of storage. Free tea and coffee a plus. Warm and helpful staff.

No kettle or coffee machine in the room but available downstairs in the entrance of the hotel. Very narrow and unconfortable bathroom.

Good location, close to bus stations. Tea station available at all times. Only fan in the room, but it wasn't a problem for me.

There was mold in the bathroom, and not just one spot. Could be noisy depending on the other guests.
