Hotel Victoria

This hotel was so charming and the staff super friendly and helpful! Also, it's directly across from the train station, so very convenient! The croissants were amazing!

Bathroom shower curtain was very dirty, room was very sparse, felt the entire hotel could use some tasteful updating.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure. The location across the street from the train station was perfect, traveling with a baby means we had more stuff with us than normal and being able to simply walk across the street and check in made our lives so much easier. As new parents it’s hard to get going in the morning and being able to start things off with a delicious breakfast really made our stay that much better.

Hotel Victoria is an older establishment that was probably the top hotel many years ago. Now it is a more tired establishment, but that is what we expected when we booked. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are large, and it was very clean, gives you a lovely breakfast, and sufficient wifi speed to stream a program. The bed was comfortable, and the worn out lounges were ok. The location just across from the station is excellent and a great place to explore from. Overall we were satisfied.

The shower over the bath would be ok except the bath is so narrow you have little room to stand and shower. To make it more difficult the liquid soap dispenser is placed just where you stand to shower despite lots of other spaces it could go, making showering more difficult when you turn around. The shower temperature varied whilst showering. Towels need replacing with newer ones.

Not much except for the big keys which I had to carry while going out to avoid chances of lock out if I return late in the evening.

Excellent location. Met many staff members and they were all very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the light breakfast.

No air conditioning in summer but it's usually not too hot in Brig

Traditional style hotel, in a good way, generous sized room, breakfast room with atmosphere and an outside terrace. Location for trains is superb, especially if arriving on a Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn train.

Location is great. It's so close to the railway station. It's clean. A bit old fashioned building, but has all the amenities.

Breakfast is moderate. Overall price could have been a bit cheaper.

I was a little disappointed that there was no hot-breakfast option.

We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a family room with amazing views from three panoramic windows plus a balcony to make it even more spectacular. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room facilities are good with a cosy bed. Continental breakfast menu never varied but was OK.

Excellent location opposite the railway station, plenty of food, shops, restaurants close by. Plenty of good walking tracks.
