Pros +
- Friendly staff, cozy public areas, nice breakfast with local produce
- We loved the hotel , the staff and the delicious breakfast .However I’m so sorry to write a negative review of this beautiful hotel as the staff and the actual hotel was amazing but unfortunately , and it’s by no means the owners fault our stay was spoilt by the ridiculous noise from the night club below our hotel that played loud heavy disco based music until 1am in the morning. The floor vibrated and even when my husband put his noise canceling head phones on he could still hear and feel it. We were unable to sleep at all and left after one night feeling absolutely exhausted. I feel so sorry for the owner of this beautiful hotel but it’s also expensive and guests do expect a lot more.
- Fantastic location, lovely staff, beautiful boutique hotel
Cons -
- Not a 3-star hotel: no wardrobe, no TV, no desks, dim lighting, tiny bathrooms with a shower curtain that wraps around you, which isn’t pleasant. Rooms are not worth nearly €300 per night. Most rooms located above a nightclub, making sleep nearly impossible. Not suitable for stays longer than two nights, and the interior is more comparable to a youth hostel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating when we shortened our stay to move to a proper hotel, given we had booked for a week. Still feel deceived by the advertised 3-star category, which, as a hotelier myself, I can tell you would not pass inspection in any European country.
- See above for more details. The hotel needs to address the unbearable late night dance music issue that carried on and even increased in loudness until well after 1am at night .
- Nothing not to like!

Nothing not to like!
Location was perfect. Breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean.
There was no wardrobe for clothes only hangers and no ironing equipment. I couldn’t close the curtains, they were always open slightly.
Excellent breakfast with great selection of local fresh food. Friendly staff. The room is spotless! Super clean.
Great location, great breakfast and very clean facilities
No parking
Close to the train station and near the centre. Lots of restaurants in the area. The staff were very approachable.Good view from room.
The shower area was very small and enclosed only by a curtain. The decor in the corridor is a bit scary. Just a personal opinion as other people might find it interesting.
The relaxed atmosphere and the lovely lounge area. The honesty bar and welcome drinks and cakes were a nice start to our stay. The rooms were spotless.
The shower would have benefitted from being a level access as the bathroom is quite small and the raised tray and heavy shower curtain is not a good option.
Great location, very nice staff, fine breakfast, quiet
Very expensive for this simple hotel. Tiny shower with cloth curtain
Lovely nicely renovated boutique hotel with interesting concepts ie kitchen that can be used. Loved the spotless bedroom, the dinner / lounge room and the very nice staff. Highly recommend.
The breakfast was delicious. A variety of items to choose from as a buffet style or a freshly made omelette/eggs were also available. A great start to the day and all served with a fresh coffee. Staff were very friendly and we were lucky enough to be able to check in to our room early. Comfortable beds, great shower and a great view from our loft room windows. Highly recommend.
There was nothing negative about our stay at all.
Very comfortable and well designed
Noise on Friday and Saturday nights from bar below hotel
The hotel was very well maintained and had a charming appeal. Friendly staff and a very good breakfast.
Un
Location, how quaint and charming it is! We stayed for a night before boarding the GEX and the location is everything. Just a short 3 minutes walk to the station straight forward. Right in the centre of Brig main attractions too. The hotel itself and the suite we stayed are perfect for kids - very homey, comfortable, with nice toilet and strong showers. Toiletries from Molton Brown works too. They provide token for your hot and cold drinks at the breakfast area, and provide continental breakfast with eggs which is a plus before our ride.
The lifts are quite small and no laundry room on site. But given that its Switzerland, we understand and not complaining
Comfortable room. Very friendly and nice staff. Terrific breakfast.
A very loud dance club below the hotel in the same building. The bass beat kept us awake for hours. The hotel can’t get the bar owner to turn down the volume.
Lovely space overlooking the plain. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and we had nothing to complain about. Close to everything. Lovely breakfast included in the price.
There are no real complaints. The pillow was a bit soft and there was only one per person, but I am sure if I asked for another they would have been able to help. We stayed on a Friday night and with the Christmas market on the plain it got a bit noisy and it carried on till late. I am sure it is fine at other times.
Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms and good breakfast buffet
Central location in historic center, cozy ambiance, friendly staff, superb welcome drink, generous & delicious breakfast!
A charming hotel; honour bar, delightful common room with adjacent patio overlooking the main square and breakfast prepared by the landladies.
Bathroom, shower particularly, a bit too tiny and some night noise from the ground floor bar.
Very nice friendly staff, very quite location and easy to get to rail station in afew minutes.
Initially was given a back room with noisy cooler fan from resurant next door and couldn't sleep with window open. Requested alternative room and was changed straight away with no fuss.
