Schlosshotel - Self Check-In Hotel

Friendly staff, good breakfast and castle view from room.

Rooms were little bit small

Schlosshotel was such a charming place, perfect for our family of 4. We loved the location and felt so welcomed by the staff. The breakfast was delicious and the views from the room were breathtaking.

The breakfast was great also the staffs, the receptionist is so nice and kind.I really love this place. If I come back, I will stay here once again. The room is so clean and very fashionable.

The distance from the city center to the hotel.

The hotel is beautifully situated by the schloss. Our room had a balcony and a great view. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast was great!

We don't mind the self check in part of the process, but it was tiresome to re- enter information that should have already on file. Self check in should be faster.

Self-check-in is very good and fast.

Breakfast not good very few things and location are very far from central station.

Everything! Very clean and comfortable room. Large balcony with the majestic view of the palace. Great breakfast. Haven’t had such delicious, fresh croissant in a long time! Couldn’t have asked for more!

This hotel was in a great location, overlooking the beautiful Stockalperschloss castle. The breakfast was great, and the beds were comfortable.

It was pretty hot while we were there and there was no A/C.

The room was good size, comfortable beds, location was good outside the castle. Breakfast was nice and the room had good amenities like a kettle, coffee maker with coffees, tissues, cups, toiletries etc.

Nothing really but we did not get a castle facing room and a bathtub.

Nice location with nice mountain views around a small hotel with cosy rooms, Breakfast was good and worth. Very helpful staff. Self check in was slightly an issue but was helped by the staff. A nice 15 minute walk from the train station. A nice garden by the hotel. Overall good for the price.

Good location not far from the railway station and the center of town. Fabulous view of the mountains and castle from our room.

The accommodations are very cramped and poor quality. Although the beds were clean and comfortable, the sheets had holes in them. The shower was very cramped and the bathroom sink was cracked. We were unable to get the coffee / tea maker in the room to work and the machine in the lobby charged our card but only produced about a tablespoon of water. We tried a second time with the same result. Additionally, the blind in the window suddenly fell down in the middle of the night.

Only a few parking places at hotel. Some were not cleaned of snow, however we found shovels in technical room. ?

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. A beautiful building in a beautiful location. The furnishings and and cleanliness were top notch. The views from our top floor, sleeps 4, apartment were incredible (see pics). The hotel is family run and they were so friendly and welcoming. Danke.

That we only stayed three nights. We will return.

The hotel was very centrally located. Rooms were simple and clean with a balcony looking out onto the mountains. Beds were very comfortable. A continental style breakfast with some Western items was included. Guests were advised that staying at the hotel entitled them to some meal discounts at 2 local restaurants.

Not so much a dislike as an unexpected difficulty with the self check-in. I had booked 3 rooms through booking.com and the self check-in system would not accept my confirmation number. Luckily a guest exiting the hotel let me into the building saying there was a 24/7 telephone available at the desk which could be used to get help. When I called the number listed I reached the hotel manager. After explaining my difficulty with self check-in she explained what had probably caused the issue and within ten minutes arrived on site to promptly take care of signing us in.

Amazing location- great town with lots of walks, restaurants, access to lots of other towns.

We had a really nice stay. Brig is so beautiful, the hotel is very comfortable and the self check in is really easy.

Spacious, clean with excellent location and super friendly and helpful hosts. Plenty of parkings. Right next to the castle and the garden. Plan to return again.

The room was very good and spacious for 3 people. We found the pillows to be uncomfortable(they were like destroyed in their inside) and the linen were a bit old and had some small holes. This shouldn’t be like this. The self check in process was fun and easy. The parking was easy as well! The breakfast was good with many choices
