It was very well priced and very central to where I was working.
Checking in was a bit of a challenge but got there in the end. The shower didn’t work and I thought the bed linen could have been a little cleaner.
Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Quiet at night.
A bit outdated.
The concierge was helpful and kind
In desperate need of refurbishing and it was not clean!
Good location, kettle and fridge in the room
Very outdated bathroom, the toilet was dirty and the room full of mosquitoes which bited during the night... No air conditioning, dusty carpet.
The woman at the desk was exceptionally nice and helpful. The hotel was in a great location. I could walk everywhere. The bed was comfortable. There was ample hot water and a tub. The room was very dark and quiet at night. Breakfast was wonderful with baguettes and many cheeses, yogurt, hard cooked eggs, coffee and hot milk and lots of other things.
The hotel is old and kept locked up tight. You have to ring a bell to get in initially and then use your key card to enter. There isn't air conditioning, which wouldn't have mattered in September, except that the duvet was very warm, too hot for sleeping.
Walking distance to attractions. Had parking.
Very run down. Dreary.
The hotel has its own character. Unique and in need of renovation but with a lot of personality. We decided to stay longer in Rouen and chose this one. We were welcomed well. Very friendly staff. The start of the day was with a good breakfast. Location is also very good. We parked our car a few streets away in a paid car parking, but the parking fee was not high as it was a weekend.
Very filling breakfast.
Owner a most charming lady on arrival. However, the following morning, when, having settled my account, I requested (then pleaded) to leave my suitcase with her while I went to check availability at another hotel on the other side of the city (hers being full) her attitude changed abruptly. She refused absolutely, becoming most churlish and unhelpful. When (being desperate), I offered to cross her palm with silver for the privilege, she once again became sweetness and light itself, and all was "pas de probleme monsieur!". Overpriced for what was on offer. I shall not return.
Large room with a friendly welcome , a secure garage to store our bikes, and a fridge and great location.
The staff were amazing, so kind and patient and everything was explained brilliantly. Really good secure bike storage , the location is first rate giving you access to the best parts of Rouen. I loved the room which was spacious and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the hotel decor might be described as quirky but I found it wonderful and so much more genuine than other hotels. I will definitely be back. Merci a tous!!
That I couldn't stay longer.
We booked very last minute, very accommodating and friendly.
Dated decor but very clean and practical. Spacious room.
Great location. Décoration is in the theme of Napoléon. There is even a statue of him at the entrance.
The shower/ bathroom is quite old and you cannot properly hang the shower head. There is carpet on the floor. Ventilation is poor. There was a strange smell but after opening the windows for a while it was better
Fantastic location in central Rouen. Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and clean room. Would definitely stay here again!
