- No elevator, winding steep stairway.
- No elevator, but we did fine using the stairs.
- There is no elevator, which was not at all a problem for us, but something to be aware of if you can't do stairs.

We loved this hotel and the owner was very nice. The room and bathroom were big! There was parking in a nearby garage for our rental car--super convenient. We had breakfast at the hotel every morning and it was very good.

So sorry I didn't get his name but the Asian member of staff at reception was phenomenally friendly and helpful and requires special mention. Sorted my parking, and stay and could not have been more helpful
The location of the hotel was perfect. It was within easy walking distance to the old city and all sights and activities. The parking was very close, convenient and secure. Underground parking lot was well lit. The hotel is older but was very clean and well kept. Breakfast was excellent. A wonderful typical French breakfast with lots to offer. The young lady who checked us in was very friendly and made a great recommendation for a traditional French restaurant. We would recommend. Great value for the price.
Good location. Good breakfast. Room small but very comfortable.
The people. The lovely, quaint surroundings. What I loved and will always love is Rouen. The breakfast was pretty good too.
I stayed two nights. The staff all leave at 10pm. They return at 6 the next morning. Between 10pm and 6am they will not reply to texts and all phone calls go directly to voicemail. The first night was raining cold and windy, clothes are wet from walking 20 minutes from the bus station in the driving rain. I arrived at 11pm. My shoes and socks were soaked. And my top floor room had no heat and no heater; the radiator didn’t work (I was told they were not allowed to turn it on by the government), and the one sheet and hospital blanket on the bed did nothing to warm. I texted and called through the night (11:00, midnight, 03:00, 03:30, by 05:00 I had given up). I was always polite and appreciative. They never replied to texts or calls. Terrible customer service. I did not sleep that night and it spoiled my full first day in (rainy) Rouen (wet shoes I couldn’t dry beside the radiator). The second day, I discover the proprietors are friendly people. They provided a thick blanket and a small floor heater which did the trick. Nice people, but below average facilities, and poor proprietors who leave the guests to fend for themselves (especially when they are pleading for assistance). Sorry Hotel Morand, but I’m looking out for the next wet, exhausted traveller.
Location was very good for a budget hotel and the interior was very quaint and French!
Room could have been a bit more spacious otherwise no complaints, didn't have breakfast so cannot comment.
The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. (Unfortunately, we were there during an unusual heat wave, and there is no AC, but that is not the hotel's fault!) The breakfast was very nice with a variety of options, including boiled eggs, granola, yogurt, dried fruits and nuts, in addition to the usual bread and pastries. The hotel is in a great location between the train station and the center of town. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
Hotel Morand is less than a ten minute walk from the train station and easy to find. The hotel itself is a little worn around the edges, but it is clean and the staff is very helpful and professional. The breakfast is in what seems to be an old fashioned living room and is a pleasant place to enjoy breakfast, which includes many options. For one or two nights, I would recommend Hotel Morand
Lovely old style hotel in midtown, 6 minutes from the station.
Nothing much
The room was spacious for three adults as was the bathroom, which isn't always easy to find. It was quiet yet right in the center of town next to the cathedral. Breakfast in the morning was lovely.
We were on the third floor, and the stairs were a bit tough with all of the luggage. Parking was a minor challenge - the hotel helps with this by arranging for parking in a garage nearby if you ask them to.
We had a pleasant stay in the hotel. Quiet neighborhood near the train station but also a close walk into the city center, room was small but comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful! It felt like we were visiting friends. The location is also great - close to the city center and train station. Looking forward to come back to this hotel :)
Breakfast was nice, being in an older place was what we expected, and the value was great.
Excellent location, 6-minute walk to the train station. Friendly staff. The building is one of the iconic maisons à colombages typical of Rouen's historic city centre.
There is an unidentifiable odour emanating from the bathroom sewage, and I have to open the window constantly and make sure the toilet and the bathroom door are shut to get rid of it.
Beautiful room, clean, comfortable bed, good shower. Delicious breakfast with too much to choose from, all fresh and tasty. Perfect location.
The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Staff were friendly. I liked meeting Mimi the cat.Breakfast was good but I wish there had been some fresh fruit
I didn't like the location of the hotel much. It's within walking distance from all the major attractions but the street it's on is not very nice. I arrived at 10pm when it was dark and I felt a little uneasy walking there on my own.The little attic room is completely open plan so the toilet, shower and bed are all in the same space which wasn't really a down point but I found it a bit weird. The sloping ceiling meant I had to walk around whilst bent over
Clean bedroom and good location
Very small and common parts looked tired
