The location was the star feature, just a few paces to the main rail station. I liked the tea and coffee making facilities in the room fact that the en suite bathroom had a proper window which could be opened for ventilation.

All the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. Had a minor power-supply issue in my room which was dealt with efficiently - they very pro-actively looked into the cause of the problem to fix it once and for all.Room was perfectly clean and spacious, plenty of sockets to charge my devices; very good use of space as well.Great location, right opposite the train station yet only a 10-minute walk away from the city centre.

Water pressure in the shower not great, although this seems to be the case in another hotel I stayed in Normandy, perhaps a regional issue? No problem with the taps though.

VERY poor lighting in the room!!!! Could not see well enough to perform simple functions. Ie: make coffee, pack unpack.

Loved the Restaurant, bar and proximity to Metro and train station. Very comfortable beds.

We originally booked a Classic twin. Receptionist v kindly upgraded us to Comfort as we were staying 3 nights. 401 is a VERY small room, needs both chairs removed and two small stools put in there. Could hardly walk past the chair/dressing table at foot of bed.

No fridge/mini bar is available in room. The lift is very small (fits only one person and a medium size luggage)

Slept like a baby. Good to have coffee and tea in the room. Very clean and modern. Plus is that it's close to the train station.

The smell in the rooms? Possibly once a smoking bedroom? And not enough water for a family of 4 just 1 tiny bottle of water for all 4 of us

Superb amenities, excellent rooms and great location near the station in Rouen, France (literally over the road!)We checked in following a disastrous arrival at a local Airbnb. Booked online and our rooms were ready within 30 minutes. Hotel restaurant and staff went beyond to make our stay very enjoyable. They gave us late checkout and stored our luggage so we could spend an extra day in the city. The hotel is a family owned business with traditional good old fashioned service (founded 1880) and that certainly shows through the excellent staff, amenities and general overall experience we had.

The lift was only big enough for one person but considering it was built in 1912, this can be forgiven! But…. it was very swift and lots of fun!

Rouen was the end of a car trip through Normandy before getting back to the train to get home. We had a relaxing afternoon, strolling a bit through the historical side and relaxing in the hotel prior of heading off the next morning. For us, expecially the location right across the train station wa a major plus, also the good Restaúrant, because we were tired and did not want to get outside for dinner. Breakfast was very delicious and with many flavours. We received a warm welcoming from the staff with valuable information about Rouen. My daugther fancied the whirlpool with light animation.

Loved and fully enjoyed our stay in Hotel de Dieppe (Best Western, Rouen). Stayed twice and would return next time again. Personnel is very friendly! On both visits we were welcomed and assisted by Manuela who went out of her way to help with a couple of our extra requests.Hotel is a historic building with a few amazing features. Also very conveniently located right in front of the train station and the taxi stand. Would absolutely recommend it!

This hotel was excellent. Right from the start, lady on reception (constance) was friendly and did her best to have my room ready early. On my return the room was ready and was really nice, lovely art deco feel. The bed was massive. AC was working well. Room had everything I needed. Best thing was the service at breakfast. I am a vegan and the lady went out of the way to find me oat milk and porridge oats. I would definitely stay here again. Very highly recommend.

Really nice little hotel with a great breakfast offering. Staff were really nice and upgraded our room. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Love the cute booths in the restaurant and old fashioned lift. Nicely restored building that still has some charm.

Not in a great area. We had a roof box so had to park on the road. Someone smashed our car window when we got back there in the morning.

Best Western Plus Hotel de Dieppe 1880 is located right outside Rouen Rive Droit main line railway station. It takes just two minutes from getting off the train to reach reception. The hotel is a characterful building complete with a central staircase surrounding a period lift. My room was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and had an excellent walk in shower. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was very powerful - a real asset with temperatures in the late 30s. I also received a room in the exact part of the hotel that I requested avoiding the front as I thought that might be a bit noisy. My room benefitted from good soundproofing. Therefore, I slept well and was refreshed for the day ahead.Nearby, there are several small restaurants and bars including an excellent Vietnamese café / restaurant in the street immediately behind the hotel. This provided a good inexpensive meal.This was my second visit to Hotel de Dieppe 1880 and, like last time, I enjoyed it.

Breakfast very good but would add berries to your fruit salad for extra spark! Dinner menu excellent .

Front desk girl was not very helpful with restaurant recommendations . Expect good French fries in France but couldn’t find them !? You should give guests a list of good restaurants, so they know where to go when out sightseeing .

Insanely near Rouen train station and very near city center. The hotel is a great choice for the ones looking for an affordable place with al the facilities and amenities didn't find in so-called five stars hotel.

The restaurant. It's dark, expensive and the quality of food is mediocre, with dishes you find better prepared and with way better quality anywhere.
