The staff was nice and helpful. The lobby is a nice place to sit and read and enjoy. The location is excellent. Also, easy to get to from the le gare.

Overall excellent hotel, staff, and experience. Hotel breakfast was also very good.

Great staff and location

A charming hotel off the main thoroughfare. Comfortable beds and a good location. They are a "Green" hotel which we liked. They will fill up your water bottle with still or carbonated water. I would recommend this hotel.

The driving directions (parking in particular) could have been clearer.

The Flaubert theme was interesting, well-executed and inviting. The rooms and lobby area decor were well-appointed and welcoming. The hotel and surrounding area were charming. It is very close to the historic, quaint pedestrian town center. The bed was very comfortable and the shower facilities were modern.

Our room was on the chilly side due to government regulations, we were told. There is a maximum temperature level of about 21 or 22 degrees centigrade which must be respected. However, the duvets were warm enough that we could stay comfortable and cozy when relaxing or sleeping.

We liked our ground floor jr. suite. It was spacious and clean. When we asked for more blankets, one of the staff members was lovely, very caring and warm. She came over to make sure we would be well set up for the night by teaching us how to set the thermostat and by bringing us more blankets. It was great to know that the front desk is open 24/7 in case we needed help with anything.

The front desk reception people were efficient, but cool, very business-like. It would be nice to receive a warm smile and welcome, as if they are glad to have us there. Also, there was a problem with getting our keys to work, even after exchanging them for new ones. However, it was comforting to know that there is someone at the front desk 24/7 who could help us with keys and anything else.

Loved the location! Staff were all very kind.

We could hear our next door neighbor coming and going on the first floor. The room feels a little sterile given the vinyl floors. And I wasn’t a fan seeing the dog bowls out. I’m always uncomfortable when I realize I’m staying in a pet friendly location. ? My bad for overlooking that detail.

Perfect location in the city. A very short walk to restaurants and only a short walk to the cathedral. Pleasant staff. Clean, modern facility with character. Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is truly charming, featuring warm and inviting decor throughout. The spacious lobby creates a welcoming atmosphere. While the room was slightly small, its unique and thoughtful design made it feel special and comfortable.

This is a rather quirky hotel that we enjoyed very much. Right in the centre of Rouen, you need your wits about you when finding it by car! There is a secure hotel underground carpark that you need to book in advance. Although our room was quite small, it was very comfortable and the bathroom was very well fitted out. Breakfast was good. The hotel is full of books and areas to sit and relax, there is also a courtyard outside to refresh you after trekking around the town. Good restaurants nearby. The town was buzzing while we were there. A visit to the covered market is a must. We would happily recommend this hotel.

The beds were quite comfortable and the location couldn't have been better.

The shower head would not stay up and just squirted water on the shower wall. The air conditioner made noises like water running and kept us up all night. We were hoping for a bigger room for the price.

Great staff, nice location, a very nice breakfast although, like in much of France, the coffee doesn't really meet our likely "too-high" expectations. This is not a "full service" hotel, meaning that we handled our own bags, there was self-parking in the convenient garage, and I don't think there was room service. But if those things don't really matter to you - they did not to us - this is a very nice choice. And by the way, Rouen is a seriously under the radar destination in many ways. We loved the town, the joan of arc museum, the amaziing gothic cathedrals (not just the one that Monet made so famous), and the Joan of Arc Church, and the many food choices at the local restaurants.

Location is amazing right in the middle of the old town a few minutes walk to the cathedral. Staff was very pleasant to deal with, room and bathroom are super clean. Very good breakfast that includes warm options.

Good location, but to drive to the hotel was bit difficult because of the road obstacle that needed the code (from the hotel) to open it.

The location was excellent, within easy walking to all the main attractions, yet in a quiet courtyard. We opted for a room with a small balcony and were glad we did. The staff were pleasant and we appreciated the hearty breakfast.
