    Pros +

    • Enjoyed restaurant. It was a Sunday with not much open. Waited and food were a nice surprise
    • Great property very sensual couldn’t have asked for betterCar park was an issue (no fault of the hotel it’s historic town) the hotel helpfully sent emails with advice if you drive a larger vehicle don’t attempt any of the car parks on the list even if it says it will fit. They are incredibly narrow go to the one that offered the largest headroom clearance.
    • the location of the hotel was excellent and the lobby area was beautiful. I appreciated the ability to get fresh water from the downstairs lobby.

    Cons -

    • Finding it with a car was frustrating.
    • Nothing it was absolutely great
    • the air conditioning was minimal, the room hadn't been updated in a while, and it showed. It wasn't as clean as other places we stayed during our trip

Nice room. Really central hotel. Close to all the sights and a fabulous array of cafes, bars and restaurants. Very comfortable bed and immaculately clean. Beautiful city and friendly locals. GOOD STAY

Some minor repairs required in room such as socket not working and others loose. No heating in bathroom....not so great for a cold January visit.

The location is very central, close to the Cathedral. Staff was friendly. Parts of breakfast were good.

My room, although quiet, overlooked an unattractive courtyard. One side of the curtain could not be opened, so the room was dark. The window was locked which made the air stuffy, especially at night. The only toiletries provided are soap and shower gel/shampoo, so bring body lotion, qtips etc.

Excellent location, large comfortable room with an incredible view. Great facilities and delicious breakfast

Great location in the centre of town, near shops and restaurants. Hotel was modern, staff very friendly and helpful, spoke English at reception. Secure parking under the hotel. Good value.

Room was cold as was the dining area. However they did provide a portable heater for our room.

    Location

Aging decor in the hallways, not enough amenities in the room such as a tea spoon. No hot water on the night I stayed so I couldn’t shower.

The location was superb. Although parking was problematic. Staff were absolutely lovely. Bed was comfy. We didn’t have breakfast.

    9WilliamPosted on: 11-16-2025

The staff managed to fulfil our request to stay in the same room as our previous stay - super helpful! So - top staff, great location (more central would be impossible) and a nice room with excellent view over the city.

Fabulous location in the heart of the old town

Difficult access and parking for large cars

    Breakfast

I wanted a hotel with easy parking. Two days before arrival I received an email telling me how to find the hotel along with a code to access the place this was extremely difficult to do. I eventually had to park half a mile away from the hotel. I would not have booked this hotel if I had been aware of the difficulties in accessing the hotel parking.

    10TomPosted on: 10-29-2025

Comfortable building next door to the cathedral. My room had a sort of terrace looking out towards the cathedral.

    8NickPosted on: 10-25-2025

Central location in historic Rouen was a big plus. For a short tourist stay in Rouen and some light sight-seeing it was ideal.

The car park was a tight fit (although that was made clear beforehand). Fire alarm at 1:00 am was unfortunate.

    8DaniellePosted on: 10-25-2025

Great location with parking in the city center. Easy to sight see. Staff very friendly and exceptional breakfast with many options!

    9AlexPosted on: 10-24-2025

Charming and helpful staff, very well managed. Excellent location, very close to the cathedral. Bed very comfortable, good choice of food for breakfast and also for dinner. A delightful place to stay.

Room poorly illuminated - no central light on ceiling; plug in sink had pop-up mechanism with lever which worked very inefficiently, requiring one to reach under sink to open plug - should be replaced with the simple push-button type where you simply push stopper.

    7NobukoPosted on: 10-22-2025

good location, ideal to walk around the old town.

So called terrace is not actually usable. Too close to the next building, no garden furniture, sharing with neighbor rooms.
