The desk clerks were friendly and helpful.

My second night, there were women arguing loudly outside my door. The doors and walls are very thin. The fought for about an hour around midnight, then they started again at 2:20 am! The hotel employee tried, but could not stop it. I slept 3 hours.

Amazing location, superb value for money, super friendly staff. Astonishing room view of the Rouen cathedral. Secure luggage storage after checkout. Small but well equipped room (kettle, coffee/tea, good heating, hair dryer, table with light, wardrobe).

Very small shower would be inconvenient for large persons. No elevator (mentioned in the description, you can ask for a room on a lower floor).

We had chosen this modest 2-star hotel for its location and for the budget price (compared to other local hotels) so we were not expecting luxury. The room was small & basic but everything was adequate. It was fine for a short stay. There were no drawers or doors on the cupboards in the bedroom; very little space for toiletries etc in the bathroom - and the beds were a bit too soft for our taste - but the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel served our purposes just fine. However, there was a lot of noise from people in the nearby park at night.

Really good central location and with easy walking distance to everything e.g. bars, food, shops and local tourism places. Good value for money.

Hotel/room looks tired and very basic. No lift or air con and imagine it to very hot in high summer. Very steep and narrow stairs would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

The position is very central

Very old building. My room was on the 4th floor with no lift. The bathroom needs refurbishing. The room is very small.

Staff were fine. However we had to deal with noise outside until 3.45am! This is unacceptable. Why didn’t someone from the hotel call the Police?

Reasonable price, friendly staff, ire of the cathedral from my room and only a 5 min walk from the cathedral to the hotel. The double room is very nice.

The single room is the same price as the double but less nice. It has a quirky bathroom which I didn’t mind but it should have been less expensive than the double. The staff are great but they don’t staff reception after 10pm. If I had been by myself I would have felt nervous about this. I’m not sure all the guests are on holiday, some looked as if they live there on a longer term basis, and there was a lot of noise on the stairwell in the early morning. The area is okay but not where I’d want to be by myself at night. I think this is a good hotel if you are with other people and need somewhere fairly central to stay.

The location is near the cathedral, so everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was good value for money. Everything is provided.

The staff was helpful and friendly, when the hotel was staffed, and the location was central and convenient.

The hotel isn't staffed after 10 p.m. I accidentally left my key card, which admits you into the hotel as well as your room, on the table in my room. I'm from Canada and can't make calls on my cell phone in Europe so I couldn't contact anyone so I ended up sleeping on a bench in the park across the street until hotel staff returned at 7 a.m. the next morning.

The room was not at the main entrance but in the annex. On the 4th floor without an elevator . Thanks to the kind receptionist, when he saw that I was a senior, he found me a room on the 2nd floor. The stairs to the 2nd floor were still tough. The room was oriented towards the back, the garages, but with a view of the famous Rouen Cathedral. Unfortunately, the tower was under renovation. Quiet for sleeping. Buffet breakfast simple, as was the room.

Internet quite weak, only worked occasionally and in a limited area of ​​the room.

Hi, I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel from Friday to Sunday — it was a lovely place and the staff were great. Just a small recommendation: it would be really helpful to have air conditioning, especially during the summer. It got quite hot at night, and I had to leave the window fully open to sleep. Other than that, everything was great. Thanks again!

The view was absolutely beautiful, with easy access to shopping areas, malls, and other places. The location is great — close to historical sites and everything you might want to explore. A really nice and convenient area.

Tiny hotel. It’s only a few minute walk from the cathedral. A lot of dining places around. I didn’t purchase a breakfast but there are a lot of cafes around. Recommend for those who love wander medieval cities.

Nothing but good to know there are no public spaces at this hotel like bar or lounge.
