    Pros +

    • The location, very friendly staff and very comfortable beds
    • Dinner was very good. Front office staff were exceptional both evening and morning. Extremely helpful provided adaptor which a $450 a night hotel in Paris could not provide. Morning front desk gentleman went outside with us to direct us to the train station. Highly recommend your hotel.
    • Staff was excellent. Booking.com messed things up again, the staff fixed it

    Cons -

    • the way the shower is setup, you end up with water everywhere, on the floor, walls, cabinet, etc
    • Nothing! Exceptional service and very clean room.
    • It got a bit loud on the street, no free parking...there are only 10 spots

Excellent half board, nice clean room, very helpful staff, free street parking behind the hotel. Novotel standard

Great location, just next to the bus and train station and room is very spacious and clean. The staff are very nice and friendly.Price wise is much cheaper than Paris.

The Gym is a bit small and simple. Do not provide any drinking water in the Gym.

    Passable

The dinner was over priced with steak that was so tough as to be inedible.

Nice bed, nice staff. I was working most of the time and slept only 3-4 hrs every night due to a lot of work, so I did not really have a chance to try out all of the facilities, restaurant or bar.

There was no work desk in the room, I had to move a small bar table around near to an electrical plug every day in order to work with my PC - this table, however was moved by the cleaning staff every day, which is understandable. However, a nuisance that there was no work desk in the executive room, which I was expecting, as I paid extra to get this room. I compared it to the cheaper regular room which looked nicer as it also had a terrace.

the room was great. just big enough for the 4 of us. the facilities in the room were good but could have been a little more comprehensive. it was really clean and the staff were so wonderfully helpful.

the breakfast was very simple and the selection was not particularly varied however it did fit the description on the website.

    Polite staff

The sofa bed where the children were sleeping was of poor quality. There was clearly a defect in the bed, which made it uncomfortable. I reported this, but unfortunately they did nothing about it.The parking policy is very strangely arranged. There are parking spaces available. If there is no space, you can go to a parking garage nearby where you can park for a fee. This results in other guests of the hotel parking their cars very antisocially around the hotel, which leads to unpleasant situations. The gym was bad. Just a few working equipment.

    Not good as we expected

We booked and paid for the room with the small refrigerator(mini bar) that was mentioned in the room description. We needed because we have a baby and we needed this refrigerator to keep our baby food and stuff. The employee said it is normal because they donot have refrigerator in the rooms anymore. They just blamed the headquarter that writes the room description in the advertisement. It was like it was not their problem. We chose this hotel because they also have mini bar. We will not stay in Novotel anymore.

Location is good but the parking is too small.

Based on my experience during my trip to Le Havre, the Novotel Hotel doesn’t deserve a 4-star rating. The attitude of the front desk staff was very friendly, but the service attitude of the restaurant staff in the evening was not good (except for the bartender). They were not welcoming and did not smile when we spoke French poorly. However, with other customers who spoke French, they were very cheerful ?We had to wait a very long time for dessert. And the dish I ordered was duck with honey sauce, but they brought me beef with honey sauce instead ?The breakfast was not tasty and seemed old. There was no variety or creativity; it was the same every day. The cleanliness in the room was poor, with dust all over the coffee machine, TV, and cabinets, table. I reported this to the front desk to have it cleaned the next day, but the dust remained untouched until the day I checked out. The bed sheet was put on inside out. It seems like this room hasn’t been cleaned for a week. It wasn’t cleaned before we checked in either. The coffee cup wasn’t properly washed, with dirt still at the bottom.

Evening staff were very helpful and friendly.

We had a horrible stay. The rooms were incredibly dirty. Found vomit on the baby bed, hair all over the shower, toe nail clippings on the floor. My toddler pulled out dirty socks from under the couch. Disgusting. Staff were very helpful. Upgraded and discounted our stay, but it took several hours to find us a clean room. The next morning they tried to charge full price for the room and only provide a discount of EUR 15. Horrible rude woman at the front desk wouldn’t even believe what had happened the night before until told to refer to her colleagues on call. Refused to contact them but finally backed down when I refused to pay the full price. Will never visit this hotel again.

    AC not available

Beds were okay but still relying on sofa beds for children aged 12 & 14 does not make this a family room. Take a look at how Van der Valk cater for families- very impressive

We had booked a table at the restaurant in advance. No mention was made that there was no availability due to a group event- not even when we repeatedly asked at reception. We had to instead find a restaurant within 30min of kitchen's closing.

Clean room, electric kettle, airco, baby bed was provided, friendly staff, my kids are warmly welcomed with nice gifts, the location is close to shopping malls and train station.

The parking place is a bit far from the entrance, there's deposit money which was not returned directly.

My wife loved the breakfast. The overall experience was top notch, professional crew, clean rooms, everything was perfectly done. A hotel as is it should be.

Good location with easy access to shops and cafe. Free parking if you're lucky, else a paid underground public parking garage closed by is also not too bad. Good value for money.

A little confused with the button control panel in the lift ?. There'd been also a few hours power cut in our room in the morning until we checked out...

The lady at the front desk when we arrived was excellent. She was helpful and explained where to park the car.

Need car park on site secure, breakfast could be better
