Pros +
- clean shower, clean bed, o.k. overall
- Nice room. Coffee/tea making facilities
- Welcoming staff. Went out of their way to find and call a restaurant for us. Very confortable room
Cons -
- reception closes at 10 p.m., plumbing issues in some rooms
- No access to hotel between 12 and 2pm. Door locked. We had arrived by train, didn't know the area and didn't want to take our luggage with us until we could check in. Eventually somebody saw us waiting and let us in. You can't always arrive at the check in time.

Welcoming staff. Went out of their way to find and call a restaurant for us. Very confortable room
Super friendly personnel, nice comfy room and plentiful breakfast. The hotel is really well located and I had a great stay.
Location and staff - very helpful: the receptionist walked with us to check whether we parked properlyClean room
A bit slow elevator
Clean and perfectly located. Staff very friendly and welcoming.
A bit noisy during the week in the morning due to temporary road works.
Great central location with helpful friendly staff!
Bathroom was quite small to get about in.Got a breakfast voucher .. but the cafe we had to use it at was not great!!
The owners were lovely. After a full day of seeing the Normandy beaches when we came back they offered us a cup of coffee or tea which was very appreciated. The breakfast options were vast. There is a grocery store across the street as well.
Very friendly and helpful personnel. Good zeised rooms. Excellent breakfast.
I liked everything
The young man who worked at the front desk was very helpful and spoke proficient English.
The continental breakfast was not complimentary and was disappointing considering the price.
I like the attitude of personnel. Also the rooms are very clean. Location is great. Also I like that you can make a free coffee anytime during the day.
Breakfast was very poor. There is NO parking of the hotel, there is parking places which have to be paid per hour in front of the hotel. The bathroom was very small.

Location, staff and facilities all very good. Real value for money
Bloody weather
The breakfast was lovely. Good central location.
Major problem is that the hotel has no private parking. There are parking spaces all round on the roads but you have to pay by the day. It’s not the expense so much, but the anxiety in finding a space and being certain that you have paid for all the time needed. Machines often out of action.
Exceptionally kind manager who walked us to the secure car park. We had also arrived late and he was extremely kind about it. The room was very quiet, cosy with character. Huge bathroom. Breakfast was generous and good quality. The location was good and the taverna des paillettes serve good food till 11pm and is only 200m away. The room had also plenty of sockets which is helpful when tou have to charge two phones, laptops, hearing aids, camera battery...The lighting of the room was very well thought through
The staff and the position. It's clean.
It's very old, the breakfast it's too expensive. Really really small bathroom.
The hotel was well situated, close to the centre and the beach. Surprisingly well equipped room and an equally surprising varied breakfast, for a French hotel. The gentleman at the desk was welcoming and helpful. It really was good value for our money

The room was spacious enough for one person. The location was great. Breakfast was basic but ok.
The reception was apparently open 7:00-21:00, I arrived at 11am to drop my bags and nobody was there, the door was locked. I tried to call the number that was on the door and nobody picked up so I went to a nearby cafe. After an hour and a half i went back, the hotel was still locked. I called again and this time somebody picked up and said that somebody would be there in 15 minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting I called again, she told me that she would call me back but she didnt. When I recalled her after another 10 minutes she said she couldn't call me because my number wasn't French which is surprising for a hotel, then eventually she gave me a code to get into the hotel because I was standing on the street with my heavy suitcase and I'm pregnant. When somebody did arrive, there was no apology, she just was quite dismissive of me being there and seemed a bit annoyed. I understand that check-in is at 2:00 p.m. but I assumed I would be able to leave my suitcase there before check-in. The room was superficially clean but the radiator and several other surfaces were covered in thick dust.
