ibis budget Angoulême Centre

The hotel weas easy to access and close to train station. A short walk to shopping and histgorical sites. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

I could hear neighbours down the hall but they quieted before curfue.

No one bothered me

The manager agreed with me to return the amount of the last two nights because I made some changes to my reservations, but I haven't t received the promised amount so far and no one answers my calls

Central location

Room AC didn’t work, it was very warm. Opening the window only provided a little help, but the room next door was smoking from the window so the smell came in. It’s near the train station so has the usual drunks and loud noises outside.

Good location, easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Comfortable room, fine for one night but would want a bigger room for longer stay.

Rather run down town, needs some TLC. Possibly due to lack of funding from central government??

It's value for money and a very good location near the bus and train station and the town centre.

Location to the train station

Room was too warm and there was no control over the aircon/heating unit. Bathroom very small. Bed not very comfortable.

The room price is less compared to other hotels in Angouleme. The room is cleaned everyday.

The bathroom is very small, not comfortable for tall and heavy people. They charge around €10 for breakfast and you get only bread items, corn flakes, juices, fruits and coffee. For the price paid, you should also include eggs, baked beans and sausages.

Clean, central, comfortable.

Shower room very small

Great location, simple but clean and tidy room. Great location and a good breakfast.

Location

The weather was hot that night. They only have heaters no cold air. I ask reception she says it’s winter I ask a fan don’t have. Cant open window very noisy hotel next to main roadCan’t sleep

Good location, right in downtown.

Driving is hard, parking is in the underground garage. Street parking does not look safe. The room is tiny.

Staff was friendly and very helpful.

Hotel rooms were too small. Bathroom was very compact. The quality of the towels and bedsheets was average. Could have provided sausages, hash brown potato, baked beans, scrambled egg etc in the breakfast.

Parking too far from hotel, not safe to walk around, noisy until very late horrible room awful ambience worst night ever

All of it - truly terrible

I had to hunt for free parking space as well as move my car before parking regulations commenced on a Monday morning.

NO dislikes

Location

Mattress was not great and would have liked another pillo

Excellent location. Very comfy beds

Room and bathroom was quite small

size room and parking facility

No access for wheelchair, despite they confirming that hey had that. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Location, value for money, easy parking very close, nice staff.

Cold drinks machine was out of order

The location and breakfast

Very small / tiny rooms. No A/c available only heater was available. There were days when the temperature outside was hot and I had no option of A/c. This facility should be provided for travellers.

Convenient location near train station and city centre. A good budget hotel.

The dispenser in reception didn't have any food or beverages. We arrived on a public holiday cold and raining and and and didn't have access to any any food or drinks.
