Location, very friendly and helpful staff

No airco, but staff provided fan on request

Our room was clean, quiet, a good size and very functional. We were pleasantly surprised. We have been in France for three weeks now and the shower was wonderful and the kitchen was an added bonus. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. We received an upgrade upon check-in which, we think, featured a separate bedroom.

We would have liked a wider bed but we recognize that queen and king sized beds are an American luxury so it wasn’t a big problem. However, given the hot weather, we wished there had been an air conditioner. Fortunately, a big fan was available. We would have greatly appreciated a folding suitcase stand and paper towels in the kitchen but were grateful for the closets and storage nooks.

The lobby of the building was absolutely beautiful (an old monastery) and a really nice place to sit and read. The apartments were clean and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. It was a plus that there was a washer and dryer we could use.

Beautiful building (renovated monastery), close to city center (a relatively steep 10min uphill walk away) and Musée de la BD, very comfy bed, kind staff.

The room decoration is quite ugly although functional.

Room lacked any personality, with boring with walls and furniture, which ironic in a city as creative as Angoulême. Bathroom had no window or air conditioning and was awkward.

Clean room, great location. A small kitchen with kettle which is very useful.

No air conditioning, room was extremely hot even with the fan that they provided us. . We mentioned a buzzing noise to the reception from the room next to us which buzzed all night long but nothing was done about it.

Perfect location for the annual big music festival. Also great ambiance--near river and park. Helpful staff.

There aren't any restaurants nearby in walking distance.

On Saturday night it was a bit noisy due to people making noise when returning to their rooms.

Room was spacious. The bathroom was also very spacious. They have kitchen with some cutlery and crockery, which was very useful to cook.

While booking the room thru booking.com, for some rooms the breakfast option is not included in the room. Breakfast included option is only available for few rooms .I stayed for 5 nights, and they did not clean the room even once nor provided new towels after 2-3 days. I had to use the same towel for 5 days.

The room also has a small kitchen and utensils to cook food. Bathroom is spacious.

There was no option to opt for breakfast along with room in booking com.Their room prices are very inconsistent. I booked a room for Feb in Jan 1st week and the price was €75 per night. But the same room was available at €58 per night on 29-Jan, 3 days before the actual stay date.

Room needs updating quite old decoration , not like the photos on the ad, also a steep uphill walk to get to restaurants

Excelent receptionist. took care of everything. All were ready upon arrival and very helpful with a lot of info about the city.

Clean, modern hotel that had an attractive ambiance. It was within walking distance of the comic book museum that we had specifically stopped at Anguleme to see. The breakfast was good too!

The building is beautiful and close to a superb restaurant.

The room was not very clean, and the bathroom had hair from previous guests. The duvet smelt of perfume, and I was allergic to it. There was no one to contact as the reception was closed.
