Hotel Seri Malaysia Lawas

breakfast was great & location nearby around city

better more security care our cars (property)

Location

Aircond was loud and not cold

It was very clean, right on the water front. Rooms were nice and big. The staff were very helpful and welcoming.

We asked about the pool and no one got back to us. There wasn’t much choice at breakfast.

The tv chanel so poor... Nothing to watch.. Pool also close for maintenance.. Basicly nothing to do inside hotel room...

A serene atmosphere and suits my palate

Eventhough Lawas is a small place, there should be security guard(s) posted at the entrance/exit points so as to moniter cars movements as Lawas is a border town, for the safety of vehicles parked in the hotel compound.

Well managed.

Cleanliness can be better. Lighting is too dark.. I was left over a powerbank in the room.. but was not informed on this.

near waterfront

breakfast need upgrade

Sorry it was room 407 need to replace the matress, not 406. Can feel the spring already, we have body ache waking up.

Clean and safe. Good location. Breakfast available. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful blackout curtains, comfortable sofas, wooden hangers and carpeted flooring make me feel like home. Bathroom is clean and shower works well, beds are comfortable. Fast and easy check in and check out.

I forgot to ask for non-smoking room. Quite difficult to sleep at night when the smell of cigarette smoke is really strong. Maybe someone was smoking nearby or at the corridor My son was disappointed when we found out that the swimming pool is closed for maintenance. It was not mentioned during the booking.

Lage

The stuff don't speak English , working very slowly. Food in restaurant was not good

The stuff is very friendly

I was request extra bed dont have & ask for extra 'selimut' the selimut is very nipis & miang

Excellent, clean comfortable and everything works. Friendly and welcoming.

The room rates are reasonable. There is a lot of car parks and close to the river view.

The standard room is ok but there is heavy strong smell of moisture in the family suite room. We tried to approach the staff and air refresher was given. However, the smell didn’t go away. This could be improved. We asked for a room with good view facing the river way in advance prior to the booking, however we were given a room seeing only the roof, which was slightly disappointing. There were also work done in the building right next to the room and it was really noisy. We were not warned of this and we could not rest. We raised this issue but we were told not much could be done.

Need to replace bread toaster ? other than that, great experience..

Swimming pool under maintenance not being mentioned at website

Convenience. Situated in town and alongside the river.

Toiletries in the bathroom very limited. No hand shower in the shower cubicle.

the location was perfect

no swimming pool & the refrigerator was noisy when we on it. lastly, had to switch off. isnt great value of money for this hotel.
