Campanile Chartres

Extremely clean, just like in the photo. Lovely bed linen.

Only slight negative was that we could not eat an evening meal at the hotel as the restaurant was being renovated, but the receptionist recommended somewhere which suited us perfectly.

Room was comfortable and clean

Dinner was expensive for what we received. I didn't feel it was the best value however breakfast was much better.

The evening meal was lovely.Generally a good hotel.

Change of room. We had asked for a room for the disabled and this was unavailable despite getting an email confirming a disabled room on the morning of our stay! Very disappointing.They did give us complementary drinks to make up for itThe room we had with twin beds, although on the ground floor was small, and my husband found the single bed difficult as he needs more space and there was a lack of support in the shower room.

Clean and well looked after. Friendly staff and good location- able to walk to Chartres easily.

We requested a ground floor room as my wife has a dodgy knee. When we arrived we were given a room on the top floor and as there is no lift she had to negotiate two long flights of stairs. Breakfast is more expensive than most other venues.

Great stopover hotel for a long journey break. Clean, comfortable, lovely staff. Plenty of parking. Nice bar and restaurant.

The decor in the main buding was good

I was put on the top floor tho hardly any customers! It iced up so i cdnt get down the stairs to the restaurant. Guy at reception brought me a tray instead. Bath had holes in it and whole room needed a refurb it wasnt as advertised on booking.com

Easy check inn, great breakfast easy stop off after a long drive.

The cleaner wanted to clean the room before we left at 9am !! Asked her to wait but placed all the cleaning stuff outside the room made it hard to move suitcases out

Disappointing

Room was not what I booked and was freezing on arrival. Sheets felt damp it was so cold.

Terribly dirty bathroom. A lot of dark spots in the shower, some old hair everywhere. Dirty towel.

Room was small , but more than big enough for the one night we stayed. The shower was hot and powerful however the room was cold even with the heater on, we switched it off in the end as it was not worth the noise.Only option in the restaurant was a set meal at 24 euro or a beefburger, which was a shame as menue looked good.

Booked a triple room to have two beds for daughter and I but 2nd bed was not set up and a pain to get out from under the bed.

Evening staff exceptional, polite and helpful. The chef was brilliant and his fresh tuna was delicious. Comfy beds and pillows. I slept like a log which, was much needed.

No English Breakfast tea bags! Sacré Bleu!

Restaurant and bar were good. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Rooms we small and cluttered. Minimal sound proofing.

It was a typical Campanile Hotel with good accommodation, parking, and a nice restaurant, all at a reasonable price. it has a lovely outdoor seating area where I enjoyed a cool beer while the sun was setting.

There was nothing that I didn't like. As I mentioned earlier it was a typical Campanile Hotel and provided everything I expected.
