Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Top marks for courtesy of the staff. Location of hotel is also ideal. Across the street from train station, and short walk to all the main sights in Chartres old city. Lots of restaurants and action in a 5-10 minute walk. Hotel lobby was open with comfy seating and aesthetically nice.

Breakfast buffet was very expensive, and set back with no outside windows. Also, no complementary coffee in lobby or anything. Felt insufficient for the price. Did not like for those reasons - many other better options in the area. Room was TINY. Hard to open 2 mid-size suitcases and still be able to walk around the bed. May be the smallest hotel room we've ever stayed in.

Unfortunately a lot- they save they have parking, and then don’t (3 week wait list for parking is what they told me once I arrived). Said they have air conditioning- ours was broken in our room. The only other option they offered us was a room that smelled like sewage - absolutely disgusting. Said they would take care of our night - didn’t. No messages actually passed to the manager. Would avoid this place and stay somewhere else.

The location is great, just in front of the train station. The hotel is in a old but super well preserved building with superb decorations and nice details. We had the jr suite and was on the last floor so the views from the cathedral were amazing. Definitely worth it and the price is good for what you get

Breakfast was high quality and had comprehensive selections, and the room was lovely and comfortable. The guest room was stylish with a 20s vibe - very nice and spacious with enough room to unpack. Location was excellent multiple good restaurants from multiple cuisines within walking distance, but also a nice short walk to and from the cathedral. The staff were excellent - personal and attentive, and helpful, reacting with urgency to every topic (even if it wasn't important to me). The lobby was also very nice.

They have lovely staff at the reception, they are very polite and helpful. The room is very very small, we think the online photos have actually been stretched. The bed and pillows are comfortable to have a good night sleep. The bathroom is actually good size and the facilities are in fairly good condition. The location is the highlight - it's right opposite the train station and only 5 mins walk to the cathedral. The hotel's own car park was full on the day, so we parked in the nearby public underground car park which is just 2 mins walk from the hotel. It cost 11.50 euros for over night parking. Overall, if you don't mind sleeping in a tidy room, it's a good hotel for stopovers.

Everything was wonderful ! From the welcome to the breakfast the next day, the service and accommodation were outstanding. Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. Sincerely friendly staff.

The walk-in shower was a bit of a nuisance. Water easily goes outside of the shower.

A lovely place to stay just a short stroll from the cathedral with very lovely staff who went out of their way to help us. Comfortable, elegant room with cathedral view. It’s opposite the train station so a high room helps negate any noise. The valet parking was brilliant! Thank you for a super stay.

Lovely hotel in great position. Room was quite spacious. I was pleased to be able to book parking ahead of my stay. Disappointed there is no longer a restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was very good value.

Arrived by car and easy to find. The greeting from the reception was lovely, and we were personally guided to the secure car park. The bedroom room was spacious with a large comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean but a slightly odd layout to the bathroom. Large basin but nowhere to put your toiletries, also the shower was big but with a clumsy door configuration which made it difficult to enter or leave the shower cubicle. The breakfast was lovely with the biggest fresh croissants, juices, and all the other bits that you would expect from a continental breakfast. We were checked out by Jean Paul, who was so nice asking about our stay, and we felt that it was extremely important to them that we had received a good experience. Also, he was asking if we were staying for the cathedrals light show that was due to start in a few days, which was nice to inform us of this. So, lovely hotel, amazing staff and would 100% return back here!

Nice and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Very convenient location just by the railway station, with a 7 minute walk to the cathedral.

I went with my husband to visit Chartres and we had a lovely weekend.The hotel is nice, the staff are very friendly and competent, always doing everything to make us feel welcome.I recommend it and would come back.

All art nouveau, very stylish. Quiet as well - we had a room at the back of the property, on a high floor.
