Le Boeuf Couronne - Hotel & Restaurant Chartres- Logis Hotels

The location was perfect for us - close to the cathedral. The service at the bar - drinks and food - was excellent. What little we ate was beautifully prepared and very tasty. Unfortunately, we did not have time to enjoy the dinner there.

The breakfast was adequate.

1. The room is extremely small.2. The room has only one key, which makes it difficult to navigate with a partner

Location , staff and restaurant

I am very familiar with room sizes in Europe but this was much smaller than usual. The bathroom was SO small only one person could enter at a time. The toilet was installed into the corner at an angle. So weird and uncomfortable

Great location…. Lift, albeit for only two people.

As a senior didn’t find the bath tub very accommodating. No grab bars and difficult to get in and out.

the bathroom was closet sized and the toilet was the worst I've ever seen - to flush you have to push a button (there are 2) and it starts to fill, then stops, and you have to push the other button to get it to flush....it doesn't matter which button you flush first - it works the same with either one.

The location. First from Paris and secondly to visit Chartres. Also the fact that it had a very nice restaurant.

Great location. Helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Comfortable beds. Tiny but adequate bathroom and shower. Very clean. Historic building. Not a chain and therefore needs support. Nice private parking.

Great location as a base to explore the town. Restaurant is on site but a separate business to the hotel but great food choices and attentive staff. We stayed 2 nights and both nights the weather was beautiful so could eat dinner outside to enjoy the live entertainment, pianist and singer/guitarist.

Great location. Friendly staff, great breakfast and service on terrace bar.

The shower was very small and water leakage on floor bad, but probably can’t do anything about that. Just be careful showering.

Brilliant location in the historic centre.Clean room with comfortable bed and shower room en-suite. Opening windows with good views.Garage parking nearby - private + secure.Very good restaurant.

Room a bit small though adequate and well decorated and equipped.

Typically small city centre rooms but warm and clean, we always have issues with European pillows but accept that's probably our problem and not the hotel's! Excellent central location and private secure parking was ideal.

Not suitable for my wife and I

No vehicle access to the hotel. Private parking was quite a bit more than the 50 metres stated by the hotel. I am disabled, so the parking distance was a problem. Very inadequate lift to upper floors.

This is lovely hotel in a stunning location near the cathedral. The bedroom was comfortable and well furnished, breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend Hôtel Le Boeuf Couronné to anyone visiting Chartres.

The dining room and the menu lifted our stay. We also liked liked that our small dog was made welcome without any fuss.

The bedrooms are a bit small but comfortable

Gorgeous decor and lovely bar / terrace and restaurant. Conveniently located in centre of Chartres with good parking arrangement. Very welcoming to our dog in all areas

Clean and a good breakfast

The room was ridiculously small for two people and two dogs. No room to move around the bed.The shower was totally impractical and flooded the very small bathroom when switched on. The prices of the meal and drinks was in my opinion exorbitant. The parking for which we had to pay extra was about 150 metres away from the hotel which meant having to go back and fore if you left anything behind in the car.

Our 3rd floor room had a wonderful view of the cathedral and although the road was busy during the day, it was quiet at night. The over the bath shower had good pressure. The hotel is within easy strolling distance of the cathedral. The breakfast was ok with a kettle to boil for tea.

We had reserved the paid parking but during our visit the door was broken so it was not actually secure.The lift is very small, just big enough for 2 + a small suitcase.The bathroom was poorly designed with nowhere to hang clothes or wet towels so they could be dried and reused.

Lovely size of room right in the heart of the town and a short walk to lots of restaurants

Soundproofing could have been a little better, I could hear next door boiling a kettle!!
