it was not clean - the towel was old and damaged - staff entered the room without notice, very creepy! - the breakfast was not good, expensive and very inconsistent, some mornings they didn’t even had tea and the food was a disaster overall.

Price paid matched expectations. Ok, except for breakfast.

The breakfast was poor quality. Eggs were awful.

Location is great, very quiet. Bed was very comfy and the shower was good. When we complained about cleanliness, the staff immediately acted on it.

Our room wasn't as clean as it should have been. When we complained, the front desk person came up and cleaned it herself. There were no coffee pods but the front desk gave us 2 when we asked. Having to pay 10 Euros for parking (should be included) was also not great. Not best value for money but then again Chartres seems expensive/touristy.

Great location to visit Chartres.Room bigger than expected, silent with a comfortable bed.

Proximity to city center and train station

They claim to have air conditioning, however it is only a central fan.

We went out to the city for dinner, came back and the entrance was locked closed. There was an intercom button to press when this happens (since this is common apparently), but nobody answered.After 15 minutes someone finally opened the door and was extremely rude and non-apologetic or understanding, his only excuse was “I don’t know why it didn’t ring” and went away.Horrible service, will never be coming here again

Good parking. Nice staff. Room with a view of the cathedral. Comfortable bed. Good facilities. Good location for us. Quiet in the room.

Good location and parking. Despite the negatives it is reflected in the price. It was our fault for choosing it.

We've stayed her quite a while ago and it's not what it was. It's no longer an Ibis. We booked a superior room, but it was far from that. It was very small, and the air conditioning couldn't cope, it was noisy and inefficient. You get what you pay for, and we did.

Conveniently located a short walk to the Cathedral and a fairly quiet location

It’s a popular place and breakfast is very busy, go early or close to 10:00 am to avoid shortages of food while staff are restocking. Room was comfortable and quiet, air conditioning was working fine. Underground parking for my motorcycle was much appreciated. I would stay here again.

Nice, budget chain hotel. Good breakfast. Pleasant 15 minute walk to the center of town and the cathedral (but uphill!). Easy to find.

Very basic room with bare minimum. Staff do not meet the standard of a normal hotel. Breakfast horrible. Bed size ok for one person but certainly not a double bed as found on planet Earth. Bad smells coming from bathroom. Had to pay for parking.

As someone passing through and just needing an overnight stop, this hotel was almost perfect. It’s in a perfect location to explore Chartres after a short uphill walk, there’s secure parking the staff are informative and helpful, it’s clean and good value for money.

The room was a little cramped, I’ve stayed before and the room was much better, but for one or two nights, it’s fine. Unfortunately the hotel had ‘temporarily’ lost its license to serve alcohol so a quiet drink after a long days driving wasn’t an option.

Secure parking and location is the main reason we stayed here.

The breakfast was very disappointing. Always having to wait for fresh food to come from kitchen. Should be able to arrive for breakfast and bread and croissants be there but appeared in dribs and drabs. Not even very nice. Stayed at cheaper B&B hotels and much better breakfasts. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Location .Polite and helpful staff .Permission to park in hotel carpark before check-in time. Simple, but clean.Value for money.

Very good value for money. Room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Wifi was good. City center is walkable from the hotel.

Neighborhood was a bit sketchy, with homeless people hanging around the entrance.
