Hôtel Mercure Chartres Centre Cathédrale

We enjoyed meeting The friendly and helpful staff. We had a very nice breakfast all beautifully presented and such kind reception with help for our stay and our onward journey. The hotel is clean, comfortable , and centrally located.

Our room was on the quiet side of the hotel, away from the road in front of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well equiped. The staff were very helpful and polite.

We liked everything. We would recommend this hotel for its location, friendliness and comfort. We will be back to enjoy more of Chartres.

Terrific Location to visit Chartres cathedral. Parking across the street. Nice and efficient staff.

No driveway. Sheets were not gentle although I liked pillows.

Great location in the centre of Chartres. It was clean and spacious and staff were friendly and welcoming

This was our second stay at a Mercure. We have been happy with both experiences. This location is close to the cathedral, yet quiet. The breakfast had good variety. The bed was comfortable.

All good

Good location, decent hotel but four stars are unjustified.

Very narrow beds, uncomfortable for sleeping.

Plenty of storage, reasonable size for one night stay for family of 4 with kids under 10 but would have struggled if we were there for longer/with older kids. Main bed was comfortable, sofa bed less so. Good shower but bathroom floor tiles dangerously slippery when wet - bigger mat needed.. Good location, easy walking distance to everything we needed. Didn't have breakfast there but it looked good, found a boulangerie nearby instead (Feuillette) with better coffee than many.

room was lovely

Fire alarm went off not once but twice during the night. False alarms happily, but we did not know that at 4, and then 5 in the morning. We had to ask for compensation, and the cost of breakfast was removed from the ill. The management could have done better we thought.

Room was big enough for 2 adults and 2 dogs.

Toilet was small and old and worn out. Staiins on the door and walls. And room was noisy, but luckily it didn't last too long.

Location is great and the bed was super comfortable. Good space in the room too. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions for activities and resturants.

Water temperature was only warm, not hot and the water pressure was average.

Nice reception. Good size of room.

No extra pillows in roomNot enough towels for 4 x peopleNo milk for hot drinks Room cold and once heating turned off, it would not turn back on again.

We were looking for a place to stay on the way to Paris, and the place answered the need. The room is simply comfortable and equipped. The location is excellent. We got an excellent medallion on a restaurant for dinner.

The parking lot is far

Location was good.

It was a bit tired, it needs a spruce up. The bathroom was tiny.. My knees touched the door when sitting on the toilet!

Close to everything. Cordial and helpful staff. Nice breakfast Was quiet

Everything was as advertised

Great location in easy walking distance of the Cathedral and Old Town. Staff were a delight - so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic.

Pillows

Great location and a super breakfast. Very quiet hotel and great location for exploring Chartres

hotel called us for to report Iphone charger which we left in the hotel

Good location and well organized rooms. Nice staff and good breakfast

Sofa bed was very creaky and breakfast area was a bit disorganized/hard to find things

Very nice staff, kids friendly hôtel, super quiet rooms, well located, close by the city parking

Comfortable, clean, central and close to cathedral. Great staff
