The staff were very attentive, kind and considerate. The property is beautiful, well maintained, with lovely gardens, a number of different sitting and lounging areas near the pool and beach. The food was delicious and well presented.

We were here in november - the low season - and were the only guests. It felt a little extravagant and lonely for us to be the only ones enjoying this hideaway

+ bamboo houses in a garden-like resort setting+ big territory with beach gazebos, sun-beds and kids playground with a few swings+ there were almost no people in August which made it feel like a nice deserted island getaway

- 25 min ride to Maumere so prepare to eat on premises- tide was low in August so a pretty shallow sea for swimming- pricey cafe in the lobby, I paid 80k for fruit salad and lime squash

Location was great, accomodation was excellent and clean, food and staff presentation was excellent, very well organized resort pool was clean staff always friendly, definitely we will come back.

Very quiet seaside location with a pool. Room was clean, bed comfortable.

WiFi playing up when we were there. Meal sizes were small, andmeals were just okay.

Great venue right on the beach but without a car it was too far out of town with no access to stores.Great pool and meals were good. Exceptional breakfast provided. There is some issue with toilet not working efficiently and no hot water in the shower.Queen bed wad actually 2 twin beds placed together which made it very uncomfortable in the middle and no top sheet and thin blankets that were too short. Need better option for a blanket.Staff super helpful when required.

Loved the location on the beach. The breakfast was really good and they brought it out to my cabin because there was a large group staying and they were all at breakfast. The cabin was large and nice and loved the porch to sit on.

Bed was hard as most are in Indonesia.

Netty is an exceptional host. The rest of the staff are accommodating and very kind. The bungalows/rooms are beautiful and spacious with cheerful and cozy decor. Just a minute’s walk to the beach. The restaurant has delicious food serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. I especially loved the tuna steaks, green beans, and lemonade.

Super friendly staff! Everything was clean and cozy. If we had that time, we would definitely stay longer. There is a also an option to have dinner! ☺️

Loved the private bungalows which were spacious and fully appointed with tea/coffee/water/shampoo etc. The staff bent over backwards to support our every wish. The food is very good too.

Maumere airport was shut and could not get a discount of our first night.

The room is just straight by the beach, it is very handy if we love the beach and love swimming.

It was a bit far from main center of the city, needs taxiif would like to go out for a bit shopping, taste different food or go to different restaurant.

It’s very quiet as it’s further from the road than most places and they don’t have chickens etc. Friendly staff! Room pretty clean.

Average place to stay for the price. We wanted AC so options were slim, we paid 450 for an AC room here and the hot water didn’t even work. Only a sheet on the bed, we like something heavier when sleeping. We had no other options for food, so we ate here both days and everything we tried was well below average. Gado-gado overcooked veggies with hardly any peanut sauce and when we asked for more they said we had to pay half of the meal for more sauce. Pizza very disappointing (I guess to be expected).

We enjoyed the quiet, forested, and flower garden location by the seashore. Nice breeze and beautiful views. The pool is an extra bonus and kept clean with a shaded sitting area or sun if you desired.A lot of seating options outside by the beach and decent snorkelling offshore (but you need experience with reading the reef break and currents/tides).Very excellent service by Stefan and Rideau, who both speak excellent English. Quality food.

Many mosquitoes so bring your bugspray!

The breakfast was very good. They even had skippy peanut butter :)).Muamere itself is not that tourstic ,, location is good if you just want to chill ,,,u cant do anything the sea is not suitable for swimming but the hotel has free sunbeds on sandy beach.Very beautiful place :))

Very quite the whole area and no wifi in the room.

This resort is fantastic, and exceptional value for money. The rooms and food are great and the staff are fantastic. This was my third visit to Maumere / Flores and we will definitely be staying at Budi Sun again when we return.

Booked for my mother and she loved it. Bit more senior friendly and the staff were very helpful. Nice pool and beautiful grounds, right on the beach.

Very besutiful and spacious bungalows. The staff and owner were very friendly and helpful with organising a tour and transport. The pool was good as well. I had a really nice stay.

Super nice and chilled place! Perfect for relaxing at the beach or by the pool, there's so many nice places at the resort. The staff is super nice and accomodating and we loved the food, so many tasty vegetarian options. We would stay nowhere else in Maumere

The beach chairs do not have cushions but if asked they provide it immediately. Area of the pool gives a bit of run down impression but they care of all your wishes. They made us a coconut. Was really nice place to stay
