A good stopover hotel on the road south. Plenty of parking. It was clean and comfy. Breakfast had limited options but was good.

Small room

Very clean and compact room, which was perfect for an overnight stay driving from from London. The staff team were helpful and friendly and the room was very clean.We had a really good Chinese meal less than 5 minutes away from the hotel. Good value and tasty food.

Everything was fine although only a limited choice of pizza available on a Sunday evening, which is fine if you enjoy pizza.

We travel with 3 dogs and they are made welcome, there are areas close to the hotel where you can walk dogs off lead which works well for us.

The hotel has quite a few cats that our dogs were interested in chasing!

Great staff, clean and comfortable.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, we ended up here as we had broken down and the staff were amazing. It is simple and room small with basic facilities, but just what we needed.

Difficult to find in industrial estate… better signage needed from road

Dreadful hotel! Had an awful time there.

No lift, door to room unbelievably difficult to open as so heavy, no bottles of wine in bar, food in ‘so called restaurant’ pathetic and over priced, towels in room grey and thin, size of room more like a cupboard and dirty. It was the most awful IBIS we’ve ever stayed in. It was a total s..t hole!! Please do not recommend it to anyone!

Location - near the highway - excellent for the overnight stop. Breakfast was very good. All very functional. SILENT!!!! Could not hear the highway.

The room was also too functional in the sense that it was super tiny. Bathroom was super mini as well . We managed, and we understand the need for it, perfectly fine if you arrive at 10 pm and leave at 8 am...

Very welcoming and friendly staff. We had a pleasant stay and had a nice rest in a clean and comfortable room.

I missed the possibility to have coffee or tea in the room (but there was a bar in the common area where you could get drinks).

Ibis is the perfect no fuss stop off on a journey. All the basics are excellent. Comfortable beds, pillows, nice linen, good hot showers, excellent trad food. Necessities are intelligently thought out.

Rooms were very small but clean and bed was comfortablebreakfast was good value with a choice of hot and cold food

we could not operate the room fan without turning the heating on so the room was hard to keep to a comfortable temperature

We were not informed the restaurant was closed. When we booked we had the option of dinner included so we thought the restaurant would be open. We did not want to go out to eat as we had had a long journey from Switzerland and it was snowing! There was no hairdryer and the bed was 2 singles pushed together. Breakfast was very expensive and was supposed to have been included in the price! We stayed here before and we’re very happy with it then.

No offer of some sort of food in the evening after a long journey…we were forced to drive into town for a meal in bad weather

All as expected (do fine) except they charged me twice and took over a month and lots of chasing to get my money back hence the low score.

Easy and convenient

There was only pizza served for dinner although it was good.. would of liked a bigger selection of food after a 5 hour drive.. but do understand there was only one staff member on that night..

The only call out is that the room didn’t have a hairdryer and had to be requested, it’s specified on the room facilities so not sure if this is expected or not.

arrived late on Saturday night to find there was no restaurant facilities only pizza available. also was not allowed in restaurant with our dog despite us having no problem in other IBIS we have stayed in.

The property is fine.

I was disappointed not to have a bedside table. There was nowhere to place my glasses etc overnight. The restaurant menu was not so good for choice. Although empty when we arrived. We asked to sit at a table which was private. But we’re told the manager wants everyone over here. Proceeded to place everyone along the window in a row, squashed up beside each other.

On our return stay from a holiday in Italy, we were disappointed in the standard of service for our evening dinner, and indeed did not have a dessert because of the long wait. The person on duty at the tables was clearly very busy and appeared to be on her own.
