Pros +
- Location was great. Breakfast was OK, not spectacular but acceptable. Surprisingly quiet at night, given that tourists are everywhere. Check-out was not complicated; just drop off room key at front desk and leave.
- Generous breakfast, great location, there is a cafe just outside of the hotel.

Cons -
- Hotel was squished between other merchants; it was initially hard to find the building. Door was locked upon arrival, and the guest needed to be buzzed in. When arrived at receptionist desk, no staff was immediately present.
- My room had a specific smell (like that of something damp) , which was not very pleasant. It was not too strong but I could feel it.
- Awful breakfast- rotten fruit on the tableLimited choice Have feeling there were ‘bugs’ of some sort in the room as both have insect bites

Location, helping and classic decoration
Location in Town centre near cathedral. Big room.
Unable to access building until 12.30.Broken heater in room. A bit cold.
It was near the main attractions and the owner Patel was wonderful helping me get in contact with booking.com concerning a problem I had at a previous 1 bed apartment which I left in a hurry after 1 night as I believe the host came into the apartment when I was out for the day. Patel speaks French so he spoke to booking.com and waited patiently on hold and was marvelous helping me out. His Employee who cleans the rooms was so kind and accommodating at my every request. I highly recommend this hotel, good honest family owned and go out of their way to help. Thank you
Great location and excellent value for money. Efficient staff, very spacious room, comfortable bed and good breakfast.
Decor and fittings are rather « tired ». Disappointed that there had obviously recently been a smoker in the room.
Location, friendly staff
Dirty room, dirty hotel, poorly maintained, very small room.
Easy access to parking.
Breakfast was poor, no milk or bowls for serials. No condiments on the table.
The staff Kalpesh was very helpful and agreed with someone of our request. The room was very large and bathroom was new and spacious. The owner's relative Neeral was very helpful the next day and helped to keep our luggage in the lobby and use the washroom and also arranged for our transport to the station ?
Just the signage of the hotel and no one was able to guide us as our phone battery had run out. Some words like Originale was missing on the signboard
The location was perfect and the room was clean
The room was very clinical and lacked warmth. Possibly because we had a dog with us.
The location and the view of the Cathedral of Lisieux. Public parking opposite in front of the cathedral. (A bit confusing with the payment system at the parking. Not related to the hotel.)The staff was very friendly and helpful. Brought us towel and a radiator because it was quite chilly weather but we didn’t need to use it. Nespresso machine in the room.Beds were comfortable. There was a lift.
Shower was a bit broken to switch between the shower heads (above head rain shower type head vs hand held shower head). Temperature and pressure were fine.
Very large comfortable room with bathroom well adapted for disabled occupants.
Only one complaint (not the fault of the hotel): we were woken up violently at 05:10 am by a council worker using a very loud aspirator to disperse fallen leaves just outside the window!!!! This ruined the night’s sleep. Totally inconsiderate and unacceptable.
very good location
not very clean. I stayed for 5 days, they only cleaned my room once, and changed the towels twice.
Nothing really. Ezcept for the fact that reception reached out to us while our train was running late and they waited to check us in at 10pm, an hour after their closing time.
The front of the building was dirty and 'reception area" was poorly lit.Service was Very basic. Staff unfriendly. We were charged extra €50 for the same room to have twin beds instead of a double bed
Location and very clean
Staff are not available at night, and it will be very good to station a vending machine inside the hotel to buy either drinks, biscuits, or chocolates. I actually run out of drinking water in the middle of the night, and staff are not available for assistance.
Good for purpose and value for money
Location was difficult as the entrance was down an alley way. Entrance was difficult. My ignorance of French was a limitation although staff spoke good Englihs.
big rooms and great location
no one talked to us about parking and we got our car towed by the police as parked in a big carpark used by the Saturday market. cost us a lot of time and money.
Location in the city was excellent. Beds were very comfortable with good linen.
Room decor needs attention. Wallpaper hanging off the wall. Strong smell of curry most of the time at the hotel. I like curry, but it may put some people off.
For the price this hotel was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were lovely and clean. Hotel was close to everything
Everything was fine. We enjoyed our stay
