Hotel exceeded expectations on every level. Room was extremely clean and well equipped, beautiful surroundings and amenities within the hotel. Any staff member we dealt with were extremely friendly, and welcoming. Will 100% be back!

The only issue is the grounds are so big we had a bit of a walk to our room from the entrance. This wouldn¿t stop me from returning however.

Our apartment looked a bit tired, apparently it was on the next phase, for a refurb.

As always, the bungalows were elegant and tidy and had most of the kitchen equipment that was needed. The complex itself is well laid out, and the gardens were well tended. There were two pools; the main one was in use all day long by the children, whilst the second pool was across the road and was pretty quiet.

Despite advertising as being smoke-free, every day, there were people openly smoking around the pool area. We definitely didn't like that.The Hotel has a very strict policy regarding the 1500 check in time regardless on whether the accommodation was actually available. This meant that new customers, and some would have travelled a long way, were sitting around in the lobby area waiting for the start button to be pressed, and even though many of the check-in packs were waiting to be handed over. This is poor customer service, and isn't really a welcome start to the hard-earned holiday.

The apartment was clean and easy to reach and in a quiet location. The quiet pool was clean and quiet. There was plenty of food to choose from in the restaurant.

At this time of year the apartment was cold and really needed a heater. There was no one to greet people entering the restaurant and take them to a table. We could have got away without paying.

Disappointing Our room had very serious problems with the drainage. Reception dealt with the problem on our first night but there was no follow up.

This was my third visit to HPL, all my requests were met , we did arrive early, we completed all necessary paperwork and check in requirements, and returned promptly at the Check in time, the apt was ready on schedule.the complex is quiet , safe and very well maintained. We enjoy staying here.

Really nice Hotel good food very clean and very helpful staff.Good price for what we had .The walk to the front where all the shops were was about a 10 min I found it not bad walking down but a struggle walking back.But that would not stop me booking again .There are lots of Taxis that are cheap.

We had a very relaxing stay half board.Hotel very clean.Staff very friendly.Breakfast every thing you want more or less.Dinner good selection.We would definitely recommend a stay here .

Our villa was very clean, all staff where friendly and helpful especially the cleaners. Breakfast was good & plentiful

The beds & pillows where very hard and uncomfortable. A little further from the main strip than we expected.

Good location. Quiet immediate area but only a short walk to beach and main strip.

An early check in would have been helpful. First apartment not entirely clean in our opinion. Took some effort to get moved due to manager not being on site but staff member that was on site was ultimately helpful and resolved issue

Would have loved a more comfortable chair to sit and enjoy the sun on our terrace, but would return again.

This is our fourth stay here and as always our accommodation and enjoyment were first rate. Your staff were always there to help when needed and very so friendly. Can't wait for our next visit. Thanks .

Excellent complex with great facilities for children and adults alike, pool and garden area very well maintained. Lovely restaurant and bar area.

Nothing we didn't like

The apartment (a little small for 2 adults + 2 kids, in one bedroom, but it fit!), the pools, the atmosphere, the restaurant (with live music), the staff (very friendly and helpful), the location

Friendly staff. Clean Hotel. No rushing for sunbeds always available.

Few minor repairs needed but staff attended to this quickly

Peaceful apartment location, friendly staff on reception and swift attention in the restaurant. Food was ok if you aren't fussy.

Water and soft drinks have to be paid for in the restaurant with the half board evening meal. This seems a tad mean and spoils the sense of hospitality. I can understand paying for alcohol but not other drinks. I would not return for this reason. I could see many other guests sat around me did not opt to pay for drinks for this reason.

Location is superb as are the villas, very clean and all the staff are lovely

No wifi in our room. Pillows very lumpy

We liked the position, facilities and layout of this accommodation, in a quiet position in Puerto Del Carmen.

Nothing not to like, the kitchen area of our apartment looked a little tired but was perfectly adequate for our needs.
