Hotel Pocillos Playa, solo Adultos

The room was comfortable the property is only a 3 minute walk to the beach. The pool area was lovely. Small hotel so we got to meet a lot of people. The staff were very friendly and the meals were good always had options to choose. There was nightly entertainment and Carmen was a shirt bus ride or a good walk away. We would stay here again.

The internet in our room was terrible it was better in the main area but since we didn’t purchase a data plan for our stay in Lanzarote next time I would make sure I had data. The staff were very apologetic and did try to rectify the issue.

The gorgeous sunbathing area(not pool area) needs a sign to say “quiet area no music” some people brought speaker and were playing music! If you want music go to pool sunbathing areas! This area is definitely for people that want to relax and have some peace!

My self and wife booked for 2 weeks. When we arrived there was a problem with the room and they had to send us to a different hotel. Because they said they had water problems but to couples in front of us goy rooms. Not a happy camper.

The food was good the rooms were clean some reception staff were lovely when leaving the receptionist coukd even ask did u enjoy your stay safe home

The dinning area was like a school canteen neither relaxing or 4 star clather bang rushing up and down clearing plates coffee was dreadful. The enterainment area again like a school hall accustics were terrible no soft furnishing to relax, compared to our ecperience in other 4 star adult only very poor.

Disappointing Experience

My wife and me booked our honeymoon at Hotel Pocillos Playa with the expectation of a peaceful getaway. Unfortunately, our experience was far from what we had hoped for. Upon arrival, we were informed that there were ongoing renovations in the hotel, and we were moved to a different property.Instead of the calm atmosphere we envisioned, we found ourselves placed in a much larger, noisier establishment (very close to airport) filled with families and children. In fact, we specifically chose Hotel Pocillos Playa because it's an only adult hotel.Additionally, the staff did not seem to handle the situation well; they find a quick alternative way but without informing us. As customers, we'd like to be informed if something's different from what booked, in order to decide if go somewhere else or not stay at all. That left us feeling rushed and unimportant. We would suggest a better communication for the next customers that will be in our same situation.Stefano and Lidia

This hotel was just a perfect place for all my family. Quiet , modern and relaxing hotel so close/walking distance to everything you need for a fab holiday. Great ,ever so helpful staff, good food with plenty of choice for everyone and lovely modern accommodation.Rented bikes, visited Sunday market, did the hike to the Montana Blanca and lots of sunbathing and relaxing with all inclusive refreshments. Plus the perfect weather and lovely company of my family. What more could you ask for???

There was some refurbishment going on that we or the agency we booked through were not told in advance. As a result of that when we checked in to hotel Pocillos Playa, the receptionist informed us that we have to move to ‘an alternative accommodation ‘. Unfortunately this was not adequate to our expectations and standards……Happy ending thought…After 2 days at hotel Beatriz and many phone calls back and forth between Booking.com and hotel trying to resolve this issue, we returned back to Pocillos Playa! Thanks again lovely Sonia and the team ! We truly appreciated.

Location of the hotel is great - near the airport and on the quiet outskirts of a busy resort, but still a reliable and frequent bus\taxi service into the resort. Super, clean promenade for walking and right beside the beach.Wi-Fi very good service throughout the hotel and around the pool area.Fabulous staff, extremely helpful, well informed and friendly. Bar and entertainment staff great fun and very courteous to guests. Our flight had been delayed, we arrived late to the hotel and the receptionist had dinner saved for our party. I observed this throughout the week, very thoughtful on their part.Communication with guests about the property and the area is good - via reception, the staff and also the display in the hotel lobby showing all activities for the day and week. Good variety of food and drink, very generous buffet at each meal. Especially loved the fresh breakfast bar - omelettes, waffles, pancakes etc. cooked fresh on request (similar at lunch and dinner). Restaurant staff were excellent. Housekeeping daily and towels changed every second day.Nice to have the option of the wellness centre and spa facilities while a guest at the hotel - good offers during our stay.On our last day, I was speaking to another guest and her family who had availed of a daily pass. They had checked out of their accommodation on the far side of the island and paid for a daily pass - it was good value and a great service offered by the hotel. They were onsite all day using hotel facilities / all meals and drinks (depending on the package they opted for) / use of luggage storage and showering facilities before their airport departure that evening/night.

Small suggestion - gym could be improved on.Not really a negative as there are plenty of sun loungers but very close together due to size of the surrounding area around the pool, it's a pity there is no more available space around the pool area to give \ allow more sense of space.

Small hotel with everything you need lovely

Two small negative dining room tables too close to food not enough room to get past without disturbing your meal. Night time entertainment could do with upgrading.

That it was available at short notice!! The hotel was in very good condition and the rooms were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It would not have been our usual choice but a cancelled BA flight and 3 days until one available it was needs must. The hotel was close to the restaurants (although you could stay all inc. Breakfast was a bonus, which of a very good standard with lots of choice. It was a very quiet area. Being adults only was also to advantage. Buses were in easy reach and a taxi to/from the airport was about 13 Euros. The clean beach was within walking distance. And not a highrise hotel.

It just isn't what we tend to go for (ie lots of sunbeds round the pool-type), but if you like that sort of thing, it would be excellent.

Very close to the beach, nice and quiet , cleaned everyday and great breakfast

Hotel is only small but really nice and clean staff were excellent and the location was fantastic just on the edge of the more lively part of Puerto del carmen but within a 20 min stroll along the promenade to reach this promande is a really lovely and clean walk all just pretty flat and one level.

Nothing really me and my wife had a really great and relaxing time weather food hotel was all as we had hoped for.

The wi-fi was terrible, I didn't have it in my room, had to go outside to have a signal. Only 2 bedside lamps in the room, no more light, very dark after sunset. Loud fridge. Broken toilet flap.

Great location. Supermarket and beach just a 3 minute walk down the hill. Rooms relatively nice and clean. Food choices varied and most of the time you will find something you like. Also the egg bar was well managed and eggs properly cooked. Ladies in the spa were very nice and massage fantastic.

All inclusive drinks all crap (25% alcohol in spirits). Not worth the money for sure. Half board is more then enough here. Spa area very outdated; paint falling off walls; jacuzzi smelly. I did not like spending time there. Main receptionist during the day fairly cold when dealing with guests.

Lovely room with pool view and balcony. Nice pool and heated (ish). A decent selection of mixed cuisine dishes and always something to try, the food was always hot and cooked. The location was nice and quiet with a very short stroll to Pocillos Beach and the promenade.

We would have preferred an option to take meals in an outdoor area rather than the single downstairs restaurant.The hotel doesn't stop guests 'reserving' sunbeds from an early hour.
