Hotel Riu Paraiso Lanzarote - All Inclusive

Close to airport, clean, good food, great entertainment

Our room was over a bridge the other end of hotel & as 2 of our party are elderly it was a bit of a problem

The hotel was amazing, so clean and all the staff were so lovely. They have loads of activities going on and it’s right next to the beach where we had lovely morning runs. Best value hotel the All Inclusive was amazing and had such a wide variety of drinks available. Would definitely stay here again!

The food was lovely and the staff were so friendly. The location was great for us.

Nothing to complain about

Very clean, comfortable. Pool area was nice. Food was lovely - good choices available. Entertainment at night was varied which was good.

We mostly enjoyed the resort,the location was good the food and service more than acceptable.The evening entertainment was also quite good.

Room 2207 which was in the other tower meaning we had to cross the bridge a number of times every day,very very disappointing as we had twice sent messages beforehand requesting a room close to restaurants,entertainment etc as we 81 and 70 years of age and have mobility issues.

Lovely room, great bed, clean and modern. Terrible food, cheap. Very little meat. Cheap, low quality drinks. Sun beds packed round the pool areas.

This was overall an enjoyable stay. The facilities suited me, the beach being close by and also the hotel being central to walk to Peurto Del Carmen or Matagorda. Hotel was clean and food was nice. The small gym was ideal for me to use in the morning before breakfast. Bar staff were quick to serve and friendly. Plenty of sunbeds although people were still putting towels down early in January to save beds facing the sun so you had to be down by 9.30am to get a bed. 2 days I went to the beach and paid for a sunbed as I was down at 10am. I would stay here again.

There was just one blip that spoiled an evening for me. There were no tables being reset and when I asked a waiter for cutlery, he shouted in a minute and mentioend something about patience and to sit down. Another waiter had tried to pass me cutlery and the angry one stopped him. The angry waiter then brought water over to my table and was trying to get me to say thank you by repeating Gracias 3 times, I ignored him as his manner was so abrupt. I was a woman on my own and felt intimidated for asking for cutlery. All other waiters were kind and friendly apart from this one man. He tended to work on the left side restaurant so I decided to keep to the right side after that. The only other small negative was when trying to sleep people arriving & leaving with cases was very loud due to the floors being tiled and the cases rattling over them.

The breakfast was good as was the rest of the food. The hotel is modern, clean and has good facilities. A good option if you're staying in the area as it's really close to the airport.

Being a bit harsh but the gym could have been bigger

We had a very bad experience on check in at the fault of Booking.com. Our confirmation of booking a room did not get through to reception for one and a half hours and during that time we had to sit in reception and wait. We couldn’t get food or a drink at the bar because it was an all inclusive hotel and when we finally got a key, all the restaurants were closed. We eventually got to our room at a quarter to one in the morning, very tired and hungry. So thank you booking.com for letting us down. However, I need to say that the lady on reception was wonderful and helped as much as she could under the circumstances.

All staff were friendly and happy. Cleanliness was outstanding in all areas

Hot food could at times be very lukewarm. Had to wait for new food to be cooked. Sun beds could be renewed as sore on backsRobe and slippers in room would be nice touch

There could be more interactive activities in the evening such as bingo and other games. The activity team were lovely but a lot is expected of them to put on 5 shows a week and understandably there were a lot of similarities. Maybe there could be more independent shows

Everything you needed was in hotel! Food and drink were brilliant so much choice. Beds were so comfy too.

Too many people for the size of the hotel ! Restaurant area felt very overcrowded and unpleasant . Long queues for drinks . Felt like a school canteen .

Staff in restaurant were so attentive I met Benito, Ingrid and bald man (sorry) many times really looked after me and knew what i liked after a few sittings. Lovely coffee in bar opposite reception. Estaban (Alicante)and Evielene (Austria/Italy) could not do enough at reception when i needed emergency adaptor, taxi, tour advice etc. Lovely singer for turning on the lights a lot of effort to make visit special.. Gardener and cleaning staff continously keeping huge areas immaculate. I love the resident cats well looked after. Housekeeping Ariagrande? V maticulous with my room and always greeted me. For such a huge hotel the staff are top notch.i loved that there were no big screens showing matches.. entertainment laid on was enjoyable and the events team had huge energy. A lot of repeat business my first time but not my last. I even got my hair done just to go to dinner.

A small thing a few more english channels. More low fat/vegan food identifiable in restaurant area, took me while to find.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Only stayed 1 night as our flight was cancelled and we were left at 11.30pm to fend for ourselves and find accommodation. The lady here on reception (maybe called eloise) went above and beyond to help us out and is an absolute credit to this hotel. Great room. Good selection on tea tray. Lovely product's for shower. Stunning gardens. Fantastic tho short time here
