Great staff, interesting decor,excellent breakfast

Location was great .. quiet, yet close to everything. The bathrooms were very clean , new , and spacious. We rented a car for a couple of days , The hotel has ample, convenient off - street parking. (5 Euros/day, and i think that is avg.)

Not sure why, but they didn't have washcloths - they provided basic towels and hand towels .. i never asked either. Heated towel racks (didn't use.) The optional breakfast (11Euro/ea.) was ok, but we decided after 2 days to go somewhere else.

Old world, charming hotel? Accommodating staff (we arrived late). Big bathroom. Wonderful courtyard for autos off the main street. The breakfast is worth the extra fee!

The location is perfect. We could parc our car there. And had one of the best rooms. From there you could walk to the center easily.

It had old world charm and available parking. The breakfast will get you through the day. Lots of good food in town to be found in walking distance.

This is one of our very favourite hotels. There is always a warm welcome and you can book a space to park at the back. The area is full of hanging flowers, shrubs and water features. In the summer they serve a beautiful breakfast on the terrace and we particularly enjoy the swift waiters who bring coffee or tea as soon as you arrive - in lovely traditional cups and saucers. The rooms are very individual with lovely wallpapers and antique furniture, in contrast to the modern bathrooms. Tout confort. The location is perfect, you cross the road at the lights and you are in the centre of Beaune, with traditional (as opposed to touristy) shops and good restaurants and cafes. We always stay at the Belle Epoque when we can as the staff are so friendly and efficient. It is a beautiful hotel.

The hotel is just outside the walls. The room is basic but nice. We didn't have the breakfast in the morning, but it looked great for the people who were having it.

In order to get the AC to a reasonable temperature, you have to ask the staff (they control the remotes for the AC).

It was very close to Beaune & all the restaurants were walking distance. Lovely spacious room & very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent. Car parking was great too.

The staff went over and above. We were greeted as we pulled in and he showed us where to park, suggested and called in reservations for dinner at a local restaurant, brought us a wine opener and glasses, and even set up a patio umbrella, so that we could have refreshments in the courtyard. The room was perfectly clean and functional, location about a 5-10 min walk to "historic district" where all the shops and cafe's are. Really good breakfast every morning. It felt like they appreciate having American guests!

Two minutes from the city center and free parking across the street. Lovely and hard working staff. Cute little bar in reception. Great bathtub! Big room!

Wish the window was a bit bigger to brighten the room. That the only tiny complaint.

Lovely, quiet setting. Small but cozy and comfortable room. Nice big bathroom. Great location just outside old town walls but easy walk to all restaurants and shops in old town. Free parking lot just across the street. Busy but we always found a spot. Can pay to park on the premises. Great starting point for vineyard bike rides!

We had just sat down in the pretty courtyard sitting area to eat a little picnic lunch. We were told we couldn't sit there unless we purchased something from the hotel bar. What a joke. We were hotel guests!! No one else was around. We ate hotel breakfast only once. It was mediocre. Can find better in town. (Try Marty for good crepes and coffee!)

This was our second stay at this elegant property, the first nearly 10 years ago, and it was good to see that nothing has changed. Our room (suite) was very large and comfortable and, as it faced the interior courtyard, extremely quiet. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The off-street parking in an enclosed area was convenient and secure. The location is perfect - just outside the busy area of town but only a 5 minute walk away. This will remain our first choice for a hotel in Beaune.

Close proximity to the center of Beaune and the parking was very safe and secure. The staff are outstanding; friendly, helpful and attentive!

What impresed us the most was the receptionist (Ishmael). He was always looking out for us and our well-being, always wanting to know if all was ok. Our room was very spacious, as was the bathroom with a seperate toilet. The staff was there every day to clean. The breakfast was superb. I chose the Continental breakfast which was brought to the room with a pot of coffee, milk, 3 or 4 kinds of brioche (with butter and 2 types of jam) and freshly squeezed orange juice. My husband had the full breakfast in the breafast room with eggs, bacon, etc. Also, the terrace was very nicely landscaped with tables and chairs to enjoy a meal, a drink or just to relax. Spacious parking also.

As I mention with most reviews we could always used more hooks and outlets for charging our electronics.
