Hotel Henry Ii Beaune Centre

Ideally situated …..a short walk to city centre. The staff was incredible…..welcoming,many languages spoken, knowledgeable about the area, helpful in every way. The hotel was a calm and peaceful oasis…..our room had everything you could ask for.

Cleanliness and staff. Nice open space in the back and room had a balcony. Good breakfast.

The building in the back past the open space could use a pressure wash.

The hotel is walking distance to Beaune downtown, and very quiet if your room faces the backyard. Parking available.

The hotel was recently renovated, and we had a very very small room!! We could hardly navigate around the bed and find space for our 2 suitcases (that, of course, we couldn’t leave open…). Breakfast, and charge for a small dog are very expensive!

Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was fine. Everything was clean. Couple of soft drinks also included in price from fridge in room. Parking was convenient with lift up to reception. MUST PRE BOOK PARKING.

Everything was clean but the dark wood furniture was a little old and chipped.

Location is good and the beds were confortable

The standard rooms (at least) are very dated, dark, badly furnished. There was no AC, so we had to open the window. the hotel backs onto a block of flats; there were 2 selfish people talking all night with some drum playing. Very little sleep. No refund offered.

Location. With parking- but very tight. Comfy bed. Bathrooms small and tired.

Fantastic staff, convenient parking, lots of good design and historic character, nice outdoor terrace, and an excellent breakfast. Simply a great stay for us!

The entry into the garage could be better marked/ signed. But once in the parking spots have great access to the hotel via elevator.

This is a lovely well located little property just outside the city walls, but within walking distance to everything. The courtyard is a very nice touch.

The location is excellent. The room was confortable and breakfast was very good.

Nothing because I never checked in. Unfriendly staff and not accommodating.

The room was large and well designed.

The hotel booking system via booking.com was hacked and I was the target of a phishing scan. I sent a message to the hotel about why they want my payment info when everything is already in booking.com. They responded to ignore these fraudulent messages, that booking.com was hacked. Too late - I had to cancel my primary credit card just before a major trip. Then about a week later, I get another phishing message "from the hotel". Then when I finally arrived to this hotel, they never brought up this subject. I guess the hotel isn’t concerned about their guests.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent and the room clean, tidy and extremely comfortable. The location was excellent for walking into the town. There was nothing that we could fault. Above all the hotel had a wonderful charm about it. There was also a disabled bay right outside the hotel although the hotel itself had onsite parking.

Location. On-site parking. On-site bar. On-site breakfast facilities. 24 hour front desk. Cleanliness.

Room was very small. We had a problem with the toilet flush, although it was sorted quickly. Shower had rain head and only a small screen so water went everywhere. There was no where to hang used towels. The breakfast room looked great and the food on offer sounded to be local produce and very good, but at Euro 24 per head was too expensive. Our meal out the night before was only Euro 124 for three courses and four glasses of wine and waiter service.

So easy as a stop off on way home from snow. Easy with our dog. Good breakfast. Really good steak restaurant in walking distance. Perfect break to our drive home.

As mentioned - pillows are not great but bed comfy so levelled out.

Need hocks for towels in bathroom , no where to hang them but everything else excellent

Twin double glazing meant absolutely no noise from the traffic outside. Clean room - loads of storage. Handy underground parking, even if turning space was at a premium as the pillars are extremely close together. Friendly staff

Super-tight parking

good location. Did not have breakfast so cannot state. Reception were delightful, excellent English spoken and great sense of humour with weary travellers.

Bigger bathroom with grab handles for partner - slightly slippy floor.
