Hôtel de France - Beaune

The hotel is very clean, and the desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very quiet and the heating worked very well. The bathroom had soaps and the shower was great. We had the hotel breakfast one mornin- it was very good. walking to the town center was easy, about 12 minutes. And the train station was across the street. So easy.

No complaints at all.

Very pleasant, excellent food...... attentive, friendly and helpful staff.

The hot water supply in the Bathroom was not reliably delivering hot water. Not pleseant when you are standing under the shower.

Great location, nice design

No vegetables at breakfast, I had to wait too long for someone to make me coffee, soap dispenser didn’t work in the bathroom, too dim light in some rooms

Location was good for us, very near train station but quiet. There are restaurants close by at Place Madeleine. 15 minute walk to historic town center. The hotel recently reopened under new management and everyone was very helpful. Breakfast was lavish.

Remove the weird nobs jutting out if the banisters, add an armoire or chest of drawers, and make it easier to get out of the tub/shower.

Close to train station. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast selection. Nice attached bar.

Showers difficult to use.

Just outside the train station, makes it so easy and just a few minutes walk into town. The WiFi was good and so was the breakfast…above average

No lift

The rooms are of a good size. The staff makes you feel welcomed. Excellent cuisine at their restaurant. Situated across the train station and ten minutes walk to town centre. Secure bicycle storage.

Right accros the station and only 10 min walk to center. Cute renovated rooms. Very nice staff. Excellent breakfast! Very nice stay. Merci!

Nothing really…

Easy to reach from highway but still close to the center. Very friendly staff

The location near the train station

The air conditioning did not work and temperatures outside were over 35C.

"The woman who checked me was really friendly and spoke some English, she is the best part of the hotel. The location is not perfect, but in walkable distance to the city center.

Rundown, totally overpriced, with no air-condition - the cheat you portending that the aircondion works. The hotel knows that the air-condition does not work, when the hotel is booked heavily, still they pretend to have air-condition. There were already two fans in the room when I arrived for the guests beforehand, so they knew the zircon is not working, still sold it as a room with aorconditon and did not tell me upon check in, that they don't have a working air-condition. They did not try to fix the problem besides offering a third! fan or ice water. I hardly slept in the overheated room - which is tiny - the hotel tried nothing. For a 100 Euros it is a ripp off, especially without and old and dated tiny rooms, with no amenities like a. refrigerator - so it is more a youth hostel and the price is a ripp off. Would not have booked it, if I would have known the air-condition does not work in this hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located across from the train station. Just a 10-minute walk to the center. Everything was perfect with the room.

Perfect location right across from the train station and a short walk from the old town. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Rooms were a good size with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options. Highly recommended for a cozy, convenient stay in Beaune!

breakfast was more than adequete; lots of variety. right across the street from the trainstation which was a great plus.

we didn't have any hot water the second day. We discovered it in the late afternoon, but didn't have any hot water until next day.

A comfortable and enjoyable stay. Super friendly and efficient staff. Great bed and spacious bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Very convenient to railway station and town centre

Absence of a lift is unfortunate

The staff were outstanding! The location to the train station is across the street. The room was nice, bed comfortable, and a lovely French hotel.

The location to the train station means trains but a Thursday night they were done by midnight. Friday night was all night. It's about a 10 minute walk to cafes and the ring wall of old Town. A few of us did way more walking than we physically should have, but there are Ubers available.

staff were very friendly and the location was perfect for us. Opposite the railway station but with free parking. only 10-12 minutes from the centre of Beaune.

Nice interior and quiet despite being in front of train station. Free parking in front of the hotel, but you may have to wait for a free spot.

10eur for dog.

Decor, it was clean. Breakfast was excellent. Beds v comfy and loved the bath

A bit cold when we arrived. We turned on the radiators.

This was a lovely overnight stay! Very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean, powerful shower, very welcoming staff. Only a short 10 min walk to central Beaune. Free parking outside, but if that’s full then the railway station car park is secure, right on the doorstep with loads of video cameras evident. The attention to detail was everywhere, from the impeccable decor in the rooms and public areas, to the way in which the fabulous breakfast buffet was presented and maintained. There’s some renovations going on behind the scenes so our first impressions were marginal, but we are so glad we booked this wonderful small hotel and will certainly return. Top marks all around!!
