rooms are very small.

The property was well located and within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to do. The staff was friendly, helpful, and available. Also, major kudos for one particular item: in the shower, there was an additional bottle of shampoo that was NOT affixed to the wall! Hooray, finally someone who understood that there’s just no way to get shampoo out of those ridiculously-affixed bottles!!!!The breakfast was not the most plentiful we’ve seen, but with the exception of the fill-your-own teabags and napkins, there was no paper to be found anywhere in the dining area. There were lovely salt & pepper shakers on each table, ceramic coffee cups, and blocks of butter (salted and sweet): I’m in heaven!

I’m really nit-picking here, as everything really was very nice at this Mercure (and we’ve stayed at many others). The only ding was that the water pressure was uninspiring.

The room design was great. Master bedroom area is separated by a wide slide panel.I also liked the pool area. Very nice in this hot summer! Breakfast was lavish, and the restaurant was rather good, too.

I'd expect bath robes in a 4-star hotel. Surprisingly, there were none in our room.Also, I think it should be possible to wash hands in a toilet and not to run around the whole place to the bathroom. That was rather inconvenient as our children had to rush through our bedroom every time they wanted to wash their hands. Also, the sliding panel made noise when moved.What is really a miss - not only the roof in the restaurant was leaking to the floor during rain, but the poodle stayed overnight and was accompanying us during breakfast.

The staff were wonderful and very helpful when my husband became ill.

The mattress cover was plastic and was very uncomfortable.

The breakfast offered many options and items were readily refilled. The bed was comfortable. I had an injury at the time and still found the bed comfortable. The water refill station in the lobby was a great idea!

Not possible to switch on the air conditioning in the room although there was a heat wave! As a result we slept badly during our 3 night stay!

Hotel has been recently remodeled with a very nice common and reception area, but the quality of the remodel in the rooms was not as high

Nice rooms, great parking facilities, bar and restaurant great and location is superb.

Need car superchargers in the car park, Tesla superchargers are old and rubbish! Had to go to another hotel to charge the car.

Contractor started very loud drilling at just after 9am - incredibly loud - room unbearable. So disrespectful to guests wanting to rest. Reception staff were lovely and did their best. Received a glib, insincere email from the remote manager. As a result of this email we will not stay here again.

Not enough wardrobe space. You end up living out of your suitcase.
